Would take Sturridge as a squad player, but any player that can't get into the England squad shouldn't be in our first team. I hate the thought of Luka at the Chavs too. I'd rather sell him abroad for less money, than strengthen an arch rival (and a horrible, dirty, putrid one at that). Man Utd or Man Shitty I could live with....but.... only for an exceptionally high price.

So you'd have Kelly, Henderson, Green and Downing in the Spurs squad then?

Sturridge is very average. Ask Chelsea fans, they don't like him much.

Not what we need. We need something better. A lot better.

I'm sure there was some itk early on in the window can't think from who saying about nani, and now just see that valencia has his number 7 shirt last year, maybe putting 2 +2 together and getting 5 but who would be happy with him? Portuguese too ;)

Not sure Nee-naw is going to leave Yanited but wasn't/isn't the impass about him wanting a big wage hike? Not sure we'd even bother enquiring tbh.

2 sources, an England youth blogger and verified sports agent, are reporting Sturridge is having tests for meningitis after showing symptoms. That would put the dampeners on any bids.

Very excited by Moutinho, class act - match made in heaven for us now we have AVB.

Sturridge? Not convinced at all even though I recognise he has talent. Not impressed with his attitude and it shows on the pitch big time. So unless AVB is going to change that with him, it would be a firm no from me - and hell no in terms of any deal for Modric.

I really don't think its a bad idea to sell a 29 year old Jermain Defoe and replace him with a 22 year old Daniel Sturridge. Quite frankly I think its pretty damn smart!

My only issue would be Sturridge's arrogance and attitude - he really is a big time knobhead - but if he scores the goals on a regular basis for us then I think he has a right to be lol.

Or current Kranjcar and future VDV replacement. Semantics really.

As far as reputed targets go:

Moutinho = Modric
Sigurdsson = Kranjcar
Sturridge = Defoe
Vertonghen = King

THis in all honesty. But then add Oscar for VDV.

My take on it anyway.
