Probably been suggested, but why not merge the threads? Aslong as people post twitter in the normal format, everyone knows it's twitter and to bring the tequilla along for the ride. Any ITK from here, COYS, or whereever, still goes through the verification process and will end up in the RO section. Maybe we could have a RO subsection for twitter info from JJ, Alqa, Spurvert et al.... as this info will not be verified, but still give users the chance to catch up......just a thought

why cant we just have 2 main threads for itk, number 1..ITK SC CENTRAL where it is strickly itk/ro only discussions, number 2.. ITK SC INN where the other side of the sc members can come in have a laugh and still enjoy the itk also, that way you keep everyone happy, may sound a bit childish but im pretty sure it will work this way (i love this site

I'd urge you guys not to do anything too quickly. I have a feeling that the twitter thing will explode/implode for the 'ITKers'. Serious ITK will migrate back to the relative safety and soft cuddles of the RO and this thread. At the moment it's just junkies getting their fix from followers - this will change when they accept that a lot of the questions they are being asked are repetitive and inane. I'm not suggesting all followers are this though, just some.

For me, the worst thing to come out of the ITK issue is that a number of good posters have left, which makes SC a poorer place. Its a classic catch 22 for the mods and its hard to keep everyone happy. Thats why dey the mods though and keep this place SC.

This thread is exactly how it should be now. Yes before it may have been entertaining for some with JJ posting loads and people asking him loads of questions etc. and I'm sure it was fun for the people participating in that, but for the people who don't have the time to follow the thread throughout the day, more times than not it was a complete nightmare and borefest to read through with countless pages of random shit.

When there's lots of ITK, this thread is busy, when there's not ITK, this thread is not so busy, like I said I think that's how it should be.

There hasn't been that much actual itk to discuss of late, not because it hasn't been posted on SC, just because there hasn't been much. Winking smilies and such are comments and opinion, not itk.

Twitter is a rabid pack of stray dogs whereas SC is a Spurs Forum. I know which I prefer and I don't really feel like I'm missing out on anything because of it.

It was all hunky dory in the ITK thread until then with just a few people posting on the Twitter Thread. Complete reversal now since JJ left the ITK thread.

As hard as it is for some of you to take, certain ITKers were asked to stop doing something, and they took it personally. Egos got the better of then I think, and the place for an ego maniac to feed his ego is the other place.

I don't envy Rob, A&C et all finding a solution, because it will be very hard to lift info from there because from what I've seen, a lot of it is opinion as much as fact, and that's what happens when questions and covos with them start. Hence the reason for the need to stop it on here.
