Really, enough with the Hulk speculation.
We've had a few hours to realise it means nothing.
They know each other, even if Hulk looks a bit scared in the picture, and that is why they are talking.
Too many people just ignore the facts and start chatting about 'Think £40m is expensive for Hulk' & 'I'm happy with Lennon & 'Hulk would be a beast' & 'so on and so on, Hulk, Schmulk, ding-a-linga-ding-dong'.

THERE IS NO ITK ON HULK

Also, JJ laughed off the idea that RONDON was anywhere near good enough for us, so let's squash that too, eh?

Agree with the first part.

JJ laughed it off before the 'World Class' player deal feel through. As was hammered home by so many last night, Things change

Also Defour is Belgian.

And we've spent too much time trying to tempt Belgians with cash, when Chelsea figured out the way to tempt them to London is by

Sounds like more of the same from Levy - talks the talk, but won't walk the walk. How much did he think Lloris was going to be? How cheap would Moutinho really be coming off the back of an excellent Euros? The arabs must have gone cold on investing, maybe why thats the 'world class signing' broke down?

Rob said yesterday it was a loan not a signing, the world class guy from RM

I think personally Levy is just being levy, if he had 1m to spend or 1bn he would always hammer out the best deal possible and not over pay

I actually disagree with all of this but i'm loath to throw out bad ratings.

Our chairman NEVER pays what they want. It's how he works. The Lloris and Moutinho deals may or may not be dead but there's no way he's gonna pay over the odds to his French and Portuguese counterparts. FWIW it appears to me that the Lloris deal is closer, maybe the Moutinho one is stupid money. Why pay it? No way to run a business.

The 'Arabs have gone cold on investing' is just a complete guess. The ITK is all over the shop regarding investment, naming rights, takeovers or whatever. It's fair to say we are completely in the dark regarding Joe Lewis' intentions having taken the club private.
And why would that lead to the 'World Class' signing breaking down? As mentioned all over there are a myriad of reasons things go tits up and this is a classic speculative 2+2=anything.

And...breathe... :)

Everything seems to be grinding slowly to a halt. I'll be ecstatic just to get Ade signed, sealed and delivered before we go off to Merica - Fuck Yeah!

Enjoy the silence.

Me too. I have a horrible feeling one of the oil rich Middle East or Russian clubs are going to come in for him if we don't get a move on!!!

Funnily enough Telegraph website reporting Lokomotiv Moscow keeping an eye on situation and considering making an offer to match his wages.

re Rondon - we would be lucky to have him as he's been linked with a whole glut of the top sides in Europe. Yes he's still raw but has the attributes to be a quality player. Hulk on the other hand has to be one of the most overrated players in the world ... and only Chelsea would be stupid enough to pay his reported £38m value/clause.
