He's requesting that they pay for his charities in Togo and Africa and it actually pisses me off to think fans are angry at the fact that the deal has stalled because of this. Please remember their are other people who now rely on a percentage of Ade's "wages" for charity so people need to get this straight before assuming he's being greedy, city put him on a ridiculous wage and now have to pay up if they want rid of him. I'm sure if personal greed was the case his agent would've flaunted him to some rich chinese/arab owned club and gotten the 200k+ weekly wage that would confirm him as "greedy", and this deal with us would've fallen through a while ago. I am confident he will lead the strike force against the Toons so have faith, he is coming, just give it some time.

Actually, the latest reports suggest that that is not the case. They say that Ade is square in terms of money but he wants City's 5m.
We don't know what the real story is BUT if I move jobs and get paid less, I don't expect my previous company to continue paying to cancer research... If he's on 100k a week, that's more than enough to keep paying to his charity. He needs to fucking wind it in.

This is like asking for patience from a heroin addict, but I fully agree with this
Young and talented is where spurs should be shopping and not spending wildly like a lot expect us too. Good things take time there is no such thing as instant success, and we need young,talented and inspired players (Siggy for example) to sign and build with the club over the foreseeable future to create the success we all so badly crave. Money may be power in football, but brains and smart transfer dealing is priceless, just remember that when asking for the Falcao's and Higuain's everyone is expecting us to sign.

Sorry Kendall the last I read was that the extra money was for towards his charities? I can't argue though a charitable person can't also demand more money for personal gain/reasons whilst claiming its for charity. Let's hope all ends up as it should and come match day 1 we aren't sending Defoe or Kane as our first pick striker
Just to add to this I am no way claiming Adebayor as being greedy or anything else the work he does in Africa is good and is needed (trust me I know) City are once again to blame for the Wage they paid him. Its a snowball effect in his lifestyle as more money = more assists/debt = need for the wage to sustain it and so the circle goes. If they can afford 35 million for Aguero they can compensate Ade for their continuing strategic fuck-up of the transfer world. Karma's a bitch, ain't she sheik
