hey everyone first time poster, long time follower. Love the form by the way. Just a quick word on Sherwood scouting at Malaga....pretty sure he is not following Olinga--the 16 year old kid. The kid isn't necessarily a prodigy...he is simply the only striker that Malaga have on their books, period. It would be beyond catastrophic if they sold him. I was down there not too long ago and things are dire...Isco will be sold and not for much either; fans down there felt that 8-10million euros and he would be off. My guess is Sherwood was watching Isco, Malaga have been pretty much stripped of all other assets.

I've been following isco for a long time and i really believe he has the potential to be a prodigy, the boy oozes class. Quick, both feet, and that natural flair that comes with special players. If the fee to be be believed is true (8-10m euros), then i wouldn't even blink.

I understand that scouting players is a year long thing, but to be scouting a player with a view to even putting in a bid with 9 days left of the window is leaving it extremely late. By now we really should know who we want and have seen enough of them playing.

Well, in that case, you are jumping to conclusions that this is the first time we are watching him. Perhaps this one of many.

interesting time for Malaga to sell though. If they get into the CL then they would get at least £20m, if they sell Isco on the cheap they could lose that opportunity. I think they will sell but for that reason they won't sell as cheap as suggested above. A deal similar to Corzola to Arsenal (12m i think) would be about right. As for the player, i know little about him but watching tonight the commentator couldn't stop talking about him and he looked pretty tidy

That Isco looked absolute class tonight, They just played back a segment on him, Defo should be looking at possibly signing him to replace Modric.

Possibly, but the way Sherwood's ditched the NextGen game to go and see him suggests that its urgent and needs to be done. If we've been scouting him for a while then I don't see a huge benefit in doing so again, especially for him to leave the academy side.

Looks to me as if we're just starting to seriously look at him now.

*Pops teeth back in*

"The kids of today don't know they're born. Listening to their Rascals and Jenny J's. Back in my day we had real music like Dru Hill and Babylon Zoo"

I remember when 'How Deep Is Your Love' was released. It was all fields round here back then. And I had to walk to school everyday, uphill both ways, 15 miles in the driving sleet and snow.

It were different when I were a lad, I tell thee.

If we sign him, we can use this chorus as his chant, starting from 1:09. Replace 'Dance, I'll take you there' with 'The title, he'll take us there'. Then Isco, Isco, Isco Isco....! In fact even if we dont sign him, we shoud use this for benny's chant!
