Or perhaps we decided he wasn't all that.

I believe the gossip is/was that the tribunal set his fee at ManU's asking price, where we didn't consider it worthwhile. Hence he went to Standard, who were willing to pay the rumoured £6 million.

I've no idea about the first part, but the second part is not right - it's been pointed out on this thread a few times that the development fee doesn't apply to overseas clubs. So Standard won't have paid any fee to United.

Think people may be missing a large piece of the point with the Latino tweet - he has definitively called a deal for tomorrow, true it could be a multitude of current options but it's happening tomorrow that's what interests me

On JD

- knew qn was coming, braced himself for it, difficult for him to talk about
- player who I have immense confidence in > Struggled to find the right word and came up with confidence and was subsequently amused by his own choice of words
- hoping that he will continue to be a tottenham player in the future > I can't say definitely but I sense either he is happy about his striking situation or genuinely tickled if JD is still around for long (any ITK update on JD?)

On Modrat
- conflict within myself quite split here
- either he is the most upfront and honest here so far or totally giving a rehearsed response.
- totally knew qn was coming and totally knew how he would handle it
- Deadline day or as most speculated will not be announced before arrivals

I agree. Also, by him saying a "Latin feel", that makes me think it is more than one player. Otherwise, why would he even say that? That's why I am going w/ both Leandro and Willian, also ties in with POTL in the know from earlier.

What I am finding hard to take is the situation regarding our creative midfielder as part of the squad. Last season Modric filled that role and unlike Huddlestone we were lucky he remained injury free. Now Modric looks to be gone - and Hudd also. Surely it's not just a matter of bringing in one creative midfielder replacement? We need two! Moutinho is the name most mentioned - but if not him, then who? Isn't this vital? We need a 'brain' to run the game. Superstar Brazilians have been mentioned and I suspect that this might mean Kaka. Because if it's not Kaka and Moutinho then what are the Club's options?

SSN reporting Hudd passed his medical, so that's conflicting earlier"ITK" reports...

I want Isco, and i want to keep VDV, PLEASE tell me that not too much to ask for!! (is that too optamistic?) :)

AVB said that he didn't know that Sherwood was at the Malaga game. What does that say about the Isco possibilities, I wonder.

Are we seriously going to announce 40 million quid's worth of signings in one go? Obviously there's the (likely) Modric money, but this is Levy we're talking about!

Just looked at that ITK from POTL, probably already been discussed but is he referring to Willian and Leandro?

Nothing. It says a lot about AVB's poker face. As if he didn't know his technical director was at the Malaga game.

Levy: Andre, oh, er hi.. how are you?
AVB: Where's Tim?
Levy: er, nowhere.. don't worry
AVB: I saw him getting into a cab earlier with an overnight bag
Levy: Never mind about that..
AVB: He asked me if I wanted a straw donkey, what's that about?
Levy: Nothing, don't worry..

Sorry I've been quiet today but Tomorrow will have a somewhat Latin feel. I've put a timeline on it. And I FUCKING hate timelines #SCITK

Sorry saw this after I posted next bit... Just genuinely trying to read between the lines and see if we can gather more clarity..

Apologies if it comes across wrongly

I think your points have been interesting tbh. Wonder if his responses and how his body gives info might be down to speaking a second language i.e. having to consider his response? Genuine question
