I'd agree if the Moutinho rumours had died after his signing but they've gone and intensified.

If it's part of a deal between us and Lyon to cover their backs somehow, allow us to flog one of our keppers or whatever, then surely they could have come up with a story that made us look less stupid?

I think that this is the time to point out to everyone the pride that we should all be feeling that the French goalkeeper and captain thinks that Tottenham are a move forward in his career from Lyon, historically a big club in France.

I think that should mean something. Wouldn't have happened a few years ago IMO.

This is my first post, but I've been reading all week after stumbling upon this great site!

I have to say, it's been very entertaining. Regarding Lloris, I think a lot of people are over reacting about this story... So quick to start the Levy bashing. Don't trust the media, we should have learnt this by now!

A propos the above, French radio RTL are saying OL are bluffing on their website just to force us to raise our offer, mostly over bonuses. 12m euros + 3m in bonus. Hugo has agreed terms with us this evening.
