Not posted here or on Twitter for a long time. My contact has been very busy in other financial dealings within the club, not been so much involved in the transfer window.

I did manage to speak to him today, regarding the transfers. Most of this has probably already been put out on forums and by the media, but I'll post it here anyway...

Moutinho - Not only do we want him, AVB feels that we NEED him if we want to progress. He has stressed to DL, that if he wants us to reach the heights he's asking, we need him in the squad, no other player will do. AVB also understands that Porto are asking for a LOT of money for him.
Remy - AVB is telling porkies, we did put a bid in, which was rejected, and since then we have put another bid in, which I do not know if it's been accepted or not.
Lloris - Did NOT have a medical today, neither has a bid been accepted, we are very close on agreeing a fee with them though, however, DL was obviously try to knock a few pennies off.
Bentley - Three EPL clubs interested, but only one could afford his wages, not told who, but he's been told he will be leaving.
Jenas - He has proved his fitness etc throughout pre-season and has generated quite a bit of interested. Norwich seems to be the likely destination though.
Ceballos - As you may be aware, RM were very interested in signing him, but we strongly think he will have a big part to play at THFC.

The future...
We all know by know AVB is a fan of building a project, not only does he beleive we need to buy quality players, he acknowledges the fact that the future is the youth... He is urging DL to invest in a whole new youth scouting system, to bring in the best youth players around.

Tomorrow I will be having a VERY busy day in work, the closer to the 31st August we get, the busier I get. But as I hear deals relating only to OUR club, I will put it straight on here.

Oh man, we missed a big opportunity by not getting Jenas to Norwich in time for the match on Saturday. #TrojanHorsed

This scouting system that AVB want's, I dont know anything about it to be honest. I don't deal directly with clubs and agents about this type of thing. I'm more P.R. But by all accounts it's had a lot of thought put in to it, he wanted the same thing at Chelsea but obviously that never happened lol

I'd really like to show this to all the AVB doubters out there. Because things like long term youth scouting plans make me feel really hopeful and like we got exactly the right guy.

Tomorrow the day of importance.

It really sucks that we come here again despite having time since May. Yes we signed Adebayor, Dembele, Vertonghen and Sigurdsson.

But by the end of tomorrow this line up:
----------------Gomes--------------
-Corluka--King---_Dawson--Bassong
-------Huddle---Modric---Jenas-------
-Kranjcar--------------------Pienaar
----------------Rafa-----------------

may fully not be with us anymore. So I think what we ve done til now is not enough, simply not enough.

If we sell Daws we need another CB
If we sell Rafa we need another top class player like Moutinho

i don't know the business of Daniel Levy and transfer dealings in details, but how the fuck he want to manage that all in this short time???

I would be very happy with Moutinho and Lloris coming in and Dawson and Rafa staying. A winger/striker would be bonus.

But I haven't a good feeling. Will be a nervy day....can't wait for Saturday....then we will know where we are at (finally)...and hopefully we can concenctrate on that we need most. Collecting three points.

I really fear for us if we don't get things sorted tmrw. I'll say it again, I feel sorry for AVB. When your appointed as manager of a club you live and die by the decisions you make. Too many managers have been sacked because Levy hasn't backed them properly. I'm not saying that there weren't other issues that contributed to sackings but managers should choose players not Levy. That's why they are appointed.

Levy needs to stop playing a stupid game at our club. I'll probably get blasted for this but yes he runs a great business and we won't end up like Leeds etc etc but how many windows does the guy need to make a profit for? Running a great business doesn't automatically get you 3 points on a Saturday nor does it win you trophies. I'm sorry but sooner or later you have to spend money if you're serious about taking the club forward.

Ive always been a fan of Levy But in the last couple of seasons I've started to wonder whether Lewis and Levy's plan has been to build the training ground and stadium and then sell up and make a massive profit. At least at the moment it seems that way. I just can't get my head around people who think Levy can do no wrong. I hope this time tmrw night in eating my words and I'll be the first to come on and apologise but I think come 11pm tmrw night there are going to be a few pissed off spurs fans.

It's time to prove your worth Levy and back your manager and come up trumps. If Spurs make a profit in this window those Levy fans need to wake up and stop this in levy we trust shit because that's all it will be SHIT!

Rant over hopefully we'll get some positive news soon. COYS!

selective memory

took us from relegation fodder to within 1 point of europe in same season

then brought us our highest ever finishes in the premier league era, whilst beating Arsenal away, ending our run of defeats against Chelsea comfortably. Breaking the Anfield hoodoo. But yeah you're right, what a royal fuck up.

How much money did he spend at spurs the last 2 season mate?

Right, just to get this straight...went it went wrong and we threw away third Levy was just as responsible as Harry was, but prior to all that and all the great achievements you cite - it was just down to Harry.

Right, now who's being selective?

We might of been in a very false and precarious position when Harry took over but all this bollox that he stook a Swindon style squad to the Champions League is ridiculous. We didn't have a squad that was of a relegation calibre, why people over egg this to further glorify Harry's good work, admittedly, is beyond me. Well it isn't really, they're just not objective.

I'm trying real hard to stay positive but the last couple of DL deadline day "specials" havent really materialised so its proving bloody hard. We all know he loves D day but Im starting to think that over the years he has managed to piss off every chairman or owner in the world and now they all see him coming. With a large grin. No doubt he is trying to do well by the club but He is also a fan surely he cant leave us in a weaker state come tomorrow can he?

Majority of the transfer window all information is chewed on with a pinch of salt. The last 48 hours, nobody has heard of salt or chewing; dump and chug all as gospel. Through thick and thin, it's been an enjoyable thread. (y);)

Levy's reputation is on the line here. He has to get this right. I trust him to do so.

You watch a ton of French football don't you? How would you feel about Lloris? I'd be delighted personally if we don't fuck it up!

Can someone please tell me where it says the managers do not have input in which players are bought?

U21's maybe not, as that is/was Sherwoods job, but the others? If we are taking it from the interview with Harry about VDV, Harry was surprised that we got him but did say that Levy had spoken to him and said he was available and then asked Harry if he wanted him.
