If we can't get a striker then Dempsey is a must as if Ade gets injured then we can play him upfront as he knows how to head a ball unlike Defoe so we don't need to change the way we play in terms of crossing the ball and having somebody needed to hold it up.

As I said yesterday, we should have signed Granero. Class little player and not much inferior (if he is at all) to Moutinho.

Mouts isn't going to happen now, it just isn't, you can feel it. This is a new low even for us on transfer deadline day. So, so depressing.

It just feels like the godam January transfer window, where everything is left until the last moment, rushed and fees are over inflated......
ITS still the summer transfer window, the club should have had plans in place for the business they wanted to do and it should just been a case of finalising things..

I love Tottenham, not because we have the most money and not because we have the best players in the world but because we are my team and we can win and lose against anyone, we are an exciting team to follow.
I still think we have business to do, Levy will not leave us without replacements for the players we have lost.
Liverpool fans are desperate to sign Dempsey and we will be dissappionted to sign him that shows how far we have come. COYS FOREVER.

Why do people still suggest that if we sign Dempsey then he is a replacement fot VDV? Is it simply because Rafa left and if Dempsey signs he must be the replacement? By that login I guess Lloris is a replacement for GDS.

We've already signed 2 midfielders who can play in that role (Gylfi and Dembele).
