Someday?
Fair enough....
Someday?

I get this Steve, I've been saying all along how we need brains to replace Modric, when VDV went this morning I thought we'd get Mouts done I really did. All week I've been saying how we needed to keep VDV, I think we could also have gone after Benayoun maybe too. It concerns me, I'm sat here a bit glum to be honest with you - though I remember thinking how I'd never see a player like Berba again for the forseeable future, then I got Modric and VDV soon after. We'll see what happens under AVB and we will build from there, I like that the club seems to be set up for longevity now, the new stadium, the youth set up, the new training facility.
It's just this whining neurosis of some Spurs fans that does my head in, that Levy only cares about the balance sheet - which to me is bullshit, we are a club set up for the long term future, not just Norwich tomorrow. We'll be fine.
I'd rather discuss things with the rational people (and there's only one good poster on that list which is too bad but necessary) than argue with people I detest. If I wanted to argue with idiots, I'd go to RAWK or Blue Moon. Ignore is the single greatest tool on this site.
Not according to JJ apparently earlier in the window he agreed to join and AVB vetoed the deal and then I think he got the hump when we went backSahin didn't want to join us - he joined Liverpool because they were paying higher wages than Arsenal for the duration of the loan
Yeah I'll get you a link I read today, it was really positiveWe have just signed Fulhams best two players from the last two seasons. Has anyone taken notice as to how the link up together? I for one haven't if i'm honest but i'm hoping they have forged a decent understanding between one another and if so that could be vital for us. Has anyone noticed their link up play?

ERm about +#25m so far
It's worth noting that every outside source I've seen so far, from the Guardian football blog to Arsenal fansites, have basically been saying it's been a good window for us and that we've strengthened. All this ITK stoking beliefs that we are DEFINITELY 100% get Moutinho etc clearly distort our perspective and expectations.
Bloody right, I think some forget how good this guy was last season. He's 29 as well, so still got a good two/three seasons at the very top level left in him.
He works like fuck as well, he'll fit AVB's pressing requirements and off the ball duties. I like him, I really do. Think he's going to play behind Ade with Siggy on the bench, and at times he may play the right forward role if we go down that route.
But playing behind Ade, we are going to have a serious aerial threat in the box now when Bale whips in a ball.
I think we'll score more goals this season, might not be as easy on the eye but could well prove more effective - offensively and defensively.
I think a rational post-mortem definitely needs to be conducted over Spurs' approach to transfers. We're not short of other clubs Chairmans/Managers airing their views.
ok I must have missed thatNot according to JJ apparently earlier in the window he agreed to join and AVB vetoed the deal and then I think he got the hump when we went back
Was a massive Levy fan before. Agree with you though. He isn't a businessman he is just a non - religious 'tight ass'.Feel for avb

MARTIN JOL blasted Tottenham’s approach to the transfer window which has left him short of firepower ahead of his team’s visit to Upton Park.
Star signing Dimitar Berbatov completed his £4m move to Fulham from Manchester United too late to be involved in today’s trip to West Ham.
But Dutchman Jol insists his side still remain a force, despite the departure of key man Moussa Dembele after Tottenham finally triggered a £15m release clause in his contract.
Jol said: “Look at Spurs, always waiting until the last couple of days, and we’ve suffered because of that.
“That was probably the reason I was a bit annoyed when we played Sheffield Wednesday in midweek.
“I don’t like that – to lose your best players – but Spurs work like that. They came up with the money and we had to react.”
