Who can we sell to QPR?

In the hope that our revered former dear leader will be taking up the reins over the way at QPR, it's clear Arry will be like a pig in shit over there with big wages and a revolving door transfer system, it's a match made in heaven.

I ask the question: Who can we sell to QPR?

Sadly, 'Our Arry' seemed to dislike as many of our players as like them and we shipped out plenty in the summer, but he's also unlikely to be back for Bentley, Jenas and the like...

Dawson? Surely a cert: 'Daws is a great lad, top attitude, competitor, always gives you 100%, I'm expecting a blank cheque to be winging it's way to Spurs before I get in my office Monday morning...'

Defoe? Outside chance... Does Redknapp even rate him?

After that, i'm struggling! We are threadbare! Daniel Levy needs to take a good look at himself. He knew Recaro Redknapp would be back in a job soon enough and would most likely be in one with money to spend. That we have not retained players for Redknapp to pay over inflated fees for is a disgrace and heads will surely roll...

Maybe we can sneak him Dempsey or Parker (providing he's still injured)?

It's also gonna be tough for us to get Phil Neville in in January now knowing we've got competition.

Anyone we own over 30, really.

Seriously though, even though I'm certain it wouldn't happen I could see him sniffing around Parker. The press will fuel that if he isn't in our starting 11 come January. Also Gallas or Dawson I expect.

Everyone thought Jol would buy some of our deadwood when he went to Fulham, it didn't happen and I am not sure it will happen with Harry now.

He'll probably know Levy's trading techniques and realise no one being sold from Spurs represents value for money

That being said, I agree that Defoe would smash it for QPR if they signed him (it would be a good deal all round except for the fact we probably wouldn't replace him with anyone)

Actually...

[phone rings in Daniel Levy's office]
'Hello?'
'Hello, Dan me old mucker!'
'What is it Harold...'
'I want Bale'
'Fuck off'
[hangs up]
[Phone rings again]
'Dan!' Wait a minute!'
'What...' *rolls eyes*
'Lennon? I've got a cool £20million here if you want it...'
'£20million, eh? One moment...'
*puts hand over receiver*
*Villas-Boas overhears*
'£20million? I can, I mean we can buy Willian for that! Who does Harry want, Dan?'
'He wants Lennon.'
'Yes! Do the deal, Dan, I like a lot!'
'He's my favourite player though, Andre... not gonna happen...'
[picks up phone]
'If you want to spend £20million, Harry, then I believe you can get Willian and we'll keep my little Aaron...'
'Eh? Er.. Triffic!'
[Levy puts phone down]
[Villas Boas collapses to the ground in horror]
'We showed him, Andre, trying to poach our best players.... THIS IS MY WORLD AND I AM KING!!!'

He'll buy VDV, Modric, Crouch, Defoe, Chimbonda, Keane and get Ledley King out of retirement. Probably have a cheeky bid for Gazza as well.

Not that I'm necessarily advocating it but Scott Parker will be high up on Redknapp's list for sure and will be akin to when he brought Palacios in in the January for us to add some drive and tenacity in the middle.

Wouldn't want to lose him but can see our hierarchy and AVB agreeing to it.

After that, Dawson will 100% be linked and as others have said, a Defoe/Zamora partnership up front will seem very appealing to ''arry.

Outside bets could be the likes of Huddlestone and Lennon too.

Agreed, our hopes of landing Neville, Rio Ferdinand and the elusive Beckham have all been severely dashed..

Dawson probably, it'll be sad to see him go, but if he's going to be AVB's 5th choice then we might as well get £8m. I also think they'll make a cheeky bid for Parker.

Yeah, I can see the Dawson move re-appearing with 'Arry in charge. A cheeky bid for Parker would make sense too, but it all depends how well he can recover fitness and last year's form and how much AVB rates him really.

Wouldn't be surprised if he went for Defoe and bought Crouch from Stoke to form his dream partnership.

I can see him going to Huddlestone too, especially if we get another centre mid come Jan.

As far as those that could rake in some money for us Hudd and Daws are the main ones to offload for Jan (doubt Dempsey will be ditched so soon). If we can find a buyer for Hudd (probably not QPR as they're strong in midfield) then I could see us making around £13m off of the two of them.

Come Summer we can sell off Rose, Naughton (Smith will be better for us), Livermore, Dempsey and Defoe for decent money (guesstimation - £23m). Sig as well if he doesn't buck his ideas up. Could sell Townsend for a bit potentially as well (I can't see him making it as a first teamer for us) but might be better to loan him off to a prem club to get his value up first.

I'm sure that Harry will move in for his lovechild Parker come Summer too. I'd rather keep him around to tutor Luongo for a season, but Levy may well go for it.

If we sold Parker I would be distraught! Harry can do one!! He can have the scraps not our best players. The only players I can see possibly going there are Defoe and daws, and I hope neither go at this present time unless we get in better. He can take Gallas though.

Defoe. He'd probably do well for them too.

Really? AVB has shown a hell of a lot of faith in Defoe so far (whether by choice or not is another question though) and he was firmly a second choice striker under Redknapp's reign. I reckon he must be pretty happy here at the moment.

Can't see him bidding for Defoe, towards the end of Redknapp's time at Spurs their relationship seemed pretty strained.
Also, we really need three experienced strikers and I can't see us buying more than one in January, hence JD'll stay IMO.

I would bet money on Frank Lampard ending up at QPR now. Just have a feeling on that one.
