Can't find it, what was said?
Shitloads of financial speak that I don't really have any idea about but my best guess was that we're changing big amounts of money into different currencies. It was in yesterdays thread probably about 10 or 11pm last night

I think this will be a deadline day special if he is still available then, then we have a lot more bargaining power.

We should really go for this. Even if its a loan and paying 100% of his wages. It will cost the club 3mil

If you ask someone to take a huge cut in wages doesn't that make your position untenable and is therefore constructive dismissal?

Oh no this is football, anything goes. Why haven't we slashed the wages of Gomes, Bentley and Jenas?

A footballer wants big wages and to be able to walk away if a bigger offer comes in, but he also wants to milk a club.

Talk about wanting to have your cake and eating it, they are simply a bunch of mercenaries.

Who isn't? If a club offers the wage for X years then that's up to them. Why would they want to take a pay cut just because the manager doesn't fancy playing them? That's bullshit.

The club offers a contract, with a promise to pay a player X amount for a set period of time. By signing, they get the insurance of an asset they paid for (or in some cases didn't) not being able to move from job to job without financial compensation.

Seems fair to me.

I'm not saying they should, merely pointing out a difference between the common man and a footballer.

According to SSN, Sneijder voted RVP as his No.1 for world player of the year. Is the rift between the two perhaps being exaggerated then? So Man Utd still a possible option for him? (Some had been suggesting Sneijder wouldn't join Man U because he didnt get on with RVP)

Has entered formal talks with Galatasaray hasn't he? Fucking hell Sneijder and Belhanda to Turkey?!!

Surely we are a better proposition that Galatasary? Would be gutted if we weren't trying to do a deal on this one. Even short term it would give everyone such a boost.

Inter are desperate, I don't see this happening unless no other suitable team comes forward.

I'd want him over Moutinho.
