There are a lot of talented strikers around.
I would not mind one of the following strikers in this transfer window:
Wilfried Bony
Lacina Traore (I rate him as very special) - He's better than Crouch as more mobile
Jozy Altidore (Yes, as a squad player) discussed to death in his thread. Not good enough IMO
Dieumerci Mbokani - decent option but might be too much of a risk atm
Christian Benteke - would be good at Spurs
Lukaku (Probably not possible) - no chance
Jackson Martinez
Aubameyang - a lot of people on here want him. PEA looks decent
Alexandre Lacazette (I rate him highly)
Bafetimbi Gomis (Interesting player) - everytime I've seen him he's been uninspiring. (not seen him more than 12 times tbf)
Christian Atsu (scored today for Ghana - more of a winger, though)
Moussa Sow (Let's get him out of Turkey - he is suited for the english game) - agreed
Henri Saivet (Interesting player)
Jody Lukoku (Talented player)
+ more.... it also depends on the transfer fee.

At the moment, I would highly recommend signing Georginio Wijnaldum. He is not a striker, but an offensive midfielder. A player I think would suit us perfectly! I would put him on the priority list, because he is and will be even more sought after in the future. Even now it is too late, in my opinion.

I don't kown anything on the rest

Tottenham have not invested in French, African, Black players over the past 5 years and unless memory serves me correctly we havent finished below either Everton or Newcastle (SK's other pointless racist WUM thread) during this period apart from Everton 1 time.

eh? really

Poor old SK (The director of Spurs Community Scouting)

He has been on here a very long time, longer than me, he isn't a perennial poster miore like a bi-annual or tri-annual, with his big,
strong African player recommendations.

The recent new members here obviously haven't seen his stuff from the old days - just like the new stuff. Throw a hundred aAfrican players names in a hat - One will make it.... possibly.

This is what I mean about the majority of football fans. They all rate players based on goals!!
That is not how you should work when you monitor a player. It is more factors than that. Like I have said many times before.
In general, I would rather choose a player who are not on the top half of the top goalscorer lists. If we have good players who can give service, it does not matter if the player has 0 or 20 goals. I want a good team. That is all that matters.

You do realise the fundamental of football is I score more goals than you, therefore I win.....right?

Do you know that most football fans and managers have bad sense of what a good team is?

Incredible isn't it!! I will never know how that Guardiola fella managed to be fairly successful with that team in Spain....I mean he didn't even have any of your list on his team. Christ he even sometimes made them play without a striker at all, let alone a french African striker!! Clearly he was just lucky!

I am not saying that a team like Barcelona is a bad team. Of course not. I have never said that. I am open for players from Spain as well if they have that extra quality. It is all about that! Usually we have a fee limit as well, and that is why I find French/africans interesting. You compare the transfer fee and the quality you get. In a team like Barcelona, you should do a lot of wrong things not to succeed.

Spursking....

Can you give me a shortlist of non african strikers who you would consider to take at Spurs?

can you give us an example where a manager has gone with your ideas, and done well in a top league, like England, Germany or Italy(lawl) for example?

I know some of the posts Spursking has had through the years on SC has been ... somewhat controversial but the amount of heat he is getting for his opinions are way over the top and some of the posts towards him is a disgrace.

Cut the man some slack will you :/
I think SpursKing is an easy target, he's always polite, he doesn't get angry at some of the abusive comments directed towards him. I've seen posters saying far more controversial things and they haven't had a fraction of the negative reactions that SpursKing gets.
