The post preceding the Spurs fan was glorious as well...
Aye, forgot to mention the games in hand but that's exactly my point. It's going to take a miracle for us to be in the Champions League next season. Being as positive as I can, we do have a chance but we'll need 3 teams around us to all go through terrible form at the same time. We need at least four weekends to go our way, in terms of results, if we can achieve it.
The fact that we're still discussing a possible fourth placed finish in Rodgers' first season is a credit to him and the team, considering he's had to play inexperienced players for the first half of the season and only really have one striker throughout. As much of a cliche as this sounds, I can't help but wonder where we'd be without some terrible refereeing decisions (Suarez's disallowed goal vs Everton), better mentality to hold on to a lead and some preventable individual mistakes (Skrtel vs Man City).
However, only championship winning form in the last 10 games, and nothing short of that, will give us a chance of CL next season. Unfortunately.
The fact that we are still discussing 4th, which relies on us being ahead of at least 3 of Spurs, Chelsea, Arsenal & Everton is evidence that we are as deluded as everyone says we are
Yeah. I have to stop reading RAWK. It's a full time position tbh. So much cack smeared down the walls, so little time.In response...
...and we have a winner.
Think we'll get a draw myself and we will be put under pressure up their. Sturridge - for now - is having a good run during the honeymoon period. He and El Castor have hit it off well. Normally I'd say we might lose because of tht but I think we'll get a goal and even if we concede we'll not collapse defensively.
The chelsea game is the one I'm really targetting. Win that and we'll cross the line OK, imo.
Not bad for a shithouse team full of wankers.
Spurs are one of the best run clubs in the league with arguably the shrewdest chairman, they even stuck with Ramos when they didn't look like they could buy a win! There's absolutely no evidence to suggest that they'd give Luís André de Pina Cabral e Villas-Boas the boot instantly should results start to slide. On the contrary they should be applauded for what was a very shrewd appointment in the first place.
As for Bale leaving, great young squad, well respected young manager, London based, more than likely going to finish 2nd or 3rd giving them champions league football. Would you want to see Levy wielding 60 million in the transfer window? I sure as shit wouldn't, I'm one more good window away from believing that he could turn water into wine.
As another note on Spurs, it's funny how people will readily point to the fact that it's a transitional season for us yet don't mention it when it comes to them. Granted ours was a much bigger rebuilding job but since Luís André de Pina Cabral e Villas-Boas's been there they've lost 3 big players for them in Modric, VDV and King.
I think he's done a sensational job personally. They could easily have found themselves where we are this season and yet they're poised to finish comfortably within the CL places.
Just for balance. Both from the same poster:
They seem very formal over on RAWK, its all Luís André de Pina Cabral e Villas-Boas this, and Luís André de Pina Cabral e Villas-Boas' that!
They have an auto correct to that for when people type AVB
Bar Adebayor, every outfield player in that game just worked harder than any Stoke player in a game this season.
It's a total myth, pedalled by TP and lapped up by idiots, that Stoke work harder than most. Working hard is a given, not something to be lauded. Good football should be praised.
Also worth noting that playing passing football requires a unified higher work rate and fitness levels than a team that sits in two banks of four and launches the ball into the channels.
The only player that needs to be super fit and work hard in that system is the unlucky sod who has to chase it into the channels.

As a truee Spurs fan and knowing our past false dawns, what gives us the right to start bragging on other clubs website, what are you trying to achieve to a Liverpool fan.
Are you expecting them to kneel down? becasue the mighty Spurs have finished in the Top 4.
Those Spurs Fans going onto other sites posting are foolish and not doing THFC any favours.
