Ade was fantastic - if only he had played like this for ONE game previously, we would've had it sown up.

Thought our midfiled was shocking today, absolutely shocking. All over the place, who was actually supposed to be doing what between Holtby, Hudd and Parker?

Also who put Hudd on set pieces? His floaty/drilled crosses are dire.

What I don't get is why everyone on here knows that Parker and Hudd shouldn't play as a pair but AVB doesn't. It either forces one of them to play a role they shouldn't be playing or both of them to play a role they shouldn't be playing.

You never know Chelsea might lose at the weekend - look very tired. Benteke and gabby will be a handful if villa can supply them.

Ade played in a far more free role like last season, plays best let off the leash... full of confidence tonight though..

Parker really went for it in the last 20 minutes. Great effort, shame he's not very good with the ball at his feet.

Great 2nd half. Fair play to Ade, i dont like him but he played very well today, as did parker , walker and the supporters. Keep it going boys , we WILL do it!

I don't think anyone can ever fault his attitude and commitment, it's just his defensive errors he has to cut out. Played really well today though, both he and Ade brought back their form from last season.

Not impossible that Villa can beat Chelsea so this is a good point for us I think but all irrelevant if we don't win against Stoke.
