Sandro was ahead of schedule and was due to resume full training in early August.
Kaboul is more complicated, he had a knee injury the recovery was setback after setback very similar to Ledley in the fact the knee .

Anyone who follows the two of them on instagram or twitter will see pictures of them in the gym!

Seems to me that article cannot be right as basically everyone reports to two different people and Baldini and Sherwood have different reporting lines. I would expect Baldini to report to Levy and the Board and everyone else to report via their own reporting lines to Baldini. As an example structure for AVB would be ...

1. Coaches to
2. Head Coach (AVB) to
3. Baldini to
4. Levy/Board

So, hopefully you now understand my original point of, who gives a fuck what Sherwood's job is if we've got all of that going on?

Are you feeling alright?

And in answer to your question: I care, and so do others. If you don't, that's fine too. Move on.

Of course AVB has an input on his playing personnel - ridiculous to think or state otherwise.

I got a few paragraphs into that piece 'clarifying' our great club and immediately ran into bullshit. Saying that Levy will spend most of his time in New York because of the horrific personal issues is interesting, as the Levys' American home is in Florida, and Mrs Levy was over in England carrying out business only two weeks ago, so presumably things aren't too horrific at present and she's in reasonably good health - long may that continue. If the rest of the piece is as reliable as that I wouldn't worry too much about anything you read in it, although in fairness, having read it all now, it does seem pretty well informed.

More on Modric and Demebele deals:
The Modric deal was a different one in the sense of they were allowed to pay in such tiny instalments (most transfers are in instalments) but that is why the have the partnership in place as part of the Modric deal.
Just to show an example we are paying instalments on the Dembele transfer. We did not give Fulham 15 million up front. Our instalments are much bigger than Real Madrid are giving us for Modric.
They owe us, we gave them a player on the cheap. It is their turn to honour the official partnership.
Bale:
Just on the subject of bale two little known facts...
Spurs do not allow for any release clauses in the contracts of their players. The last one was berbatov who had one I believe.
Also levy is very good friends with one of the owners of bales agency. I think it's called stellar agency or something.
I expect a gentlemans agreement similar to what was done with Modric but there will be nothing in writing.
Kaboul contract:
Kaboul signed an extension to the 2014 one. I think only until 2015 but it isn't next year it expires

I think I, and most people on this site, have probably read enough about the key figures at our club to have written literally all of that ourselves.

Yeah. Well some of us don't have time for instagram as we're too busy taking beta-blockers, studying consumer ratings on adult incontinence products and worrying about kids on our lawns.

Disrespectful and churlish.

I've got no issue with that article whatsoever, rings true and makes sense.
We've been told Levy wanted to step back, we've been told Sherwood has an important role.
That Comolli or Pleat have advised on players, doesn't surprise or worry me. The more people involved with scouting the better.
That Comolli was still involved doesn't worry me either; it's business, and he had good contacts.
Am excited that Baldini will come in & rather than solely answer to Levy will have a degree of carte blanche to manage signings.
Not worried about our HEAD COACH (can't emphasise that enough) having minimal input to transfers. It's not his job, it never has been and we've been running a team effort for hiring players for a long while now. Anyone who doesn't like that need only take a look at QPR.

So: this is who we are: let's sign some fucking players.

I'm worried about it and I don't think its fair to just cite QPR as the example. There are loads of successful teams where the manager has control over signings ( ever heard of Man Utd, Arsenal or Everton?). We nned to stop using Redknapp as the barometer to judge everything against.

I don't mind having a DOF if the manager, sorry, HEAD COACH is happy working that way but let's hope AVB's input is more than just minimal. Because one thing is for sure. If we do shit, it's AVB who is going to walk the plank and the next head coach may not be so pleased to be working under Baldini and Sherwood.

Personally I think AVB must have some input into the players we sign. He should do aswell he has to work with them everyday and he has to get the results! If he keeps getting players he probably doesnt want like Dempsey then im afraid he might get annoyed and leave. Ofcourse some of his suggestions are unattainable .... Like Hulk and Willian as they're too expensive.

It sounds like we've run the same system for a long while and it's done OK for us so far.

Does it tie in with the knowledge we have of the structure at the club?

The structure is public domain. I have no inside links at Spurs and as Spurger said, it's no surprise. We publicly announced that AVB is our Head Coach. We have referred only and exclusively that he is Head Coach. His only job in football has been Head Coach. He has absolutely no qualifications to be a Manager.

So, which one do our fans and all football fans regardless of the team they support, say when they talk about AVB's job..? ;)

To be fair, the same goes for most other coaches out there. It is very unusual to see Managers at football clubs these days.

Well some of us work in PR and have clients who pay us vast sums to promote them through twitter and instagram using our personal accounts. So that's nice for some of us. Glad some have time to play on internet forums during work hours though.
