Interesting take on it and it could be JB has just lied face to face with Levy when they are supposedly meant to be close. Would Levy really lose good prospects over this though? Seems awfully petty.

No he is a nice guy however all this rhetoric about Franco 'doing this and that' is bollocks mate. Any club will sell to us if we pay the money! Most Players will play for AVB and like what we are doing at spurs. He is just a mouthpiece for Daniel he isnt telling them anything else that is sealing the deals just a face.

I personally hoped he would come in and allow Levy to take somewhat of a back seat in certain matters and also Franco would continue his good record with signing young prospects.

I just can't see the Madrid players coming to us. This deal for Bale doesn't seem anything like a foregone conclusion; especially if Levy is pissed off enough to start shipping Barnett's players out wholesale.
