Gutted Hud couldn't quite make the grade. Still think he's a great option from the bench but he needs to play first team to stand any chance of getting back into the England squad. Good luck Thud. Hull have made a great signing.

They've made two great signings. At that level Jake and Hudd are quality players.

from the ITK we got from LLM it didn't sound one off. I don't have a quote but based off of how he worded it i remember thinking it was a permanent change. it could be possible we're giving him a loan out to get experience at CB a la Danny Rose last season whom got a loan out to a prem club at LB despite never playing there before.

It was misinformed that he would play in defence for us this year. For hull? We'll wait and see.

It might've been misinformation that he was going to play in defense for US this year, but i dont think it was misinformation that he would be playing in defense. LLM sounded very sure when he gave us that ITK if i remember correctly. saying how the switch to CB has been touted since the Harry days and how he thought he looked like a young Ledley King.

I don't think he would be loaned out unless we had assurances he was going to be played in his new position.

He looks more like a young Chris Houghton if you ask me

Jake will be in midfield for them. Fat face Bruce was on sky saying they're very short in midfield.

That's very harsh to a player who spent the best part of 2 seasons out injured, in fact he is still really coming back from those injuries. Don't get me wrong, it's time for him to move on. He needs to revive his carrier...
Poor bastard, let's wish him a full and speedy recovery. ;)

Why is Livermore on £15k + seriously?
he's had 36 apperances for the first team and an appearance for the english national team. there's probably some clauses in his contract that gave him a bump in salary after the national team appearance + a certain number of club appearances. in his case it doesn't really make sense because the national team appearance was a one off and he isn't a first team regular, but in most players those 2 goals would be a natural progression in their career and by that time would probably be worth the extra bump in wages.

Regardless of where he plays for Hull i'm confident Jake Livermore will come back a much better player. Good loan. Must mean the rumor of Capoue being announced after the France game is true.

Good to see him go. Never fulfilled his potential and we've moved on as a squad. Hope he does well but wouldn't put money on It
Have we moved on as a squad?? When he was a regular he helped us get top 4 and CL, since then we haven't, not down to him not playing but until we do it this year, and I mean qualify with ease then as a squad we are still under the cosh!

City spending hundreds of millions might have something to do with it.

I always thought Livermore was another O'Hara but with a loan move he could prove me wrong and earn a return.

Huddlestone is one of those players who is very pleasing on the eye but also too slow for us. It's as if the modern game has passed him by a bit with athletic midfielders who have a lot more in the locker. I think he'll be very good for Hull though. I always thought he would do great in Serie A but happy to see gim stay in England.

Parker was always a short term solution in midfield. Sandro has likely learnt a fair bit working with him and is now ready to dominate in midfield. Our midfield is looking in much better shape now with Paulinho and Capoue and Sandro back from injury.
