We don't actually know if Chelsea have come in for him yet, but if they have, it's hilarious that they are trying to scupper this deal when it was really Capoue and Paulinho that they needed and should have been in for.

We're way beyond inception!! This is Mourniho appearing in Baldini's dream inside Levy's inside AVB's inside ours!!

No no no, it goes Perez appearing in Mourinhos dream, then Ronaldo appearing in Bales dream, then a sheep dreaming of a sheep dreaming of being a goat, posting on spurscommunity but is actually a human but in the dream is a goat but then the lines got blurred and Baldini is a farmer in his dream buying a horse which is actually willian who is dreaming of AVB who in his dream is managing Chelsea. What we have to do is get Willian to realise he isn't a Horse and AVB manages Spurs, but we have to incept that frigging sheeps dream.

Willian is a replacement for Bale, Lamela is! Have you ever watched him play? Judging by what you said, I doubt it.

Seen him play plenty of times. Does more stepovers than Parker does 360s and still can't get anywhere near the Brazil squad.

I would be chuffed if we sign him, but we're talking £30m for an attacking midfielder who's scored about 23 goals in 200 odd games.

Lamela is a true "next level" player for me, Willian would compliment that but I am just not 100% sold on him.

It really wouldn't be the end of the world if we don't get him.

I was under the impression that once a club has officially accepted a bid, it can't be unaccepted just because a third club comes in at the eleventh hour. Why would Chelsea have to outbid us? Surely they could just match our bid and offer Willian double the wages?

Again, Kia and Roman are good friends - If Chelsea had been truly interested in Willian, Kia would have driven him straight to the Bridge and taken his usual extortionate agent fee, and we never would have had a sniff. This all stinks just a little too much.

If Anzhi has rejected our bid now, I have to assume that another club has come in with a higher bid. ergo CHAVS. If that is the case we either bid higher or say goodbye.

Not necessarily. Perhaps Anzhi/Kia just think they can squeeze a bit more money out of the deal. Its dirty tactics, but more often that not clubs will just pay up more because they don't want to go through the hassle of pursuing another player. But not Daniel, remember - he's different.

I think a lot of the media will assume Anzhi going back on their word and rejecting our bid means another club has offered higher. Therefore, they make the link to Chelsea coming in for him late. 2+2=5.

Just my onion though. I'm glad Baldini/Levy have told Kia/Anzhi to stick it. If we're patient, hopefully they will come crawling back to us and we can start our Willian love-in again

I just hope we don't up our bid, Willian is a good player and I would very much like him to come to us. But Chelsea got Hazard for 34 mil and he is a better player with much more potential, I also think (although I could be wrong) that Draxlers release clause is 35 mil and I would prefer him anyway. If Chelsea and Kia are trying to punk us then screw them and Willian. At spurs he will be a star player in an exciting team, at Chelsea he would be a squad player in a team that don't even appreciate their best players (Mata). They have such a incredible amount of talent in midfield.... I actually am finding this quite amusing. There is no point being pissed at Chelsea, their club is a joke and this just confirms it.

So many conflicting reports I am confused what to believe.

Some say Chelski bid was too late and we're just waiting on a work permit, other's that Chelsea outbid us (they could have just matched or whatever) all just crazyness.

This is the annoyance of sports news and stuff as we know nothing for sure until it's all done and dusted.

Don't do it to yourselves lads, lets move on. The will to spend and spend BIG is there from us. I trust AVB & Baldini to find us a top alternative...

Not too miffed about losing William. Rather lamela was sorted first
Personally, I think Willian is the more important and 'better' signing as he has champions league experience and he is more proven than lamela. Also lamela was apparently crying when he left Roma today so I don't want any players feeling homesick at our club!
