Got to be honest, I think that Barnett has done a job on him. I don't know him personally of course but this sort of stunt didn't seem in his character, he also doesn't seem like the sharpest tool in the shed and is perhaps easily manipulated. Either way, he ultimately made the decision not to turn up for training, and though I wont hurl insults at him, equally I can't say I'll feel sorry for him should his dream move not work out.

Why is bitter and childish to be upset that a player contracted to our club has thrown a strop to get a move? Spurs made him the player he is today and he's thrown that back at the club.
Meh, I hope he's arrested and jailed for stalking Ronaldo after a week...

It's a real shame, but GB has completely screwed this up. He's done his best Veruca Salt impersonation and that is extremely disappointing. Glad to see the end of this, the back of him, and I'm incredibly excited about the upcoming season.
