Don't see how there can be any negativity towards Gareth Bale. He came to WHL, gave us the best individual display of brilliance that we as fans have seen arguably since our club began and left us with a world record sum of money to fill the gap.

All the best GB11, thanks for you service!

refusing to play, refusing to train, faking injury.

Of course there can be negativity. Rooney hasn't acted like that

How about because it's now clear he's being a twat about it?

6 seasons and a manager he supposedly really likes and he's gone on strike to force it through. Fuck off Bale, you're no better than the last two moany twats we sold.

I don't think he faked an injury, I think it's pretty obvious that this was a club position to avoid awkward questions. He was gone once the first bid came in, no point risking him in a friendly for the sake of it. All of this bad behaviour has been dreamt up by the press.

Take a look at Bale's twitter, he hasn't said a thing since the bid came in

First there was ratboy, now monkey ears. If Levy lets this go, come next summer, we'll see the same happening to whoever will be doing well this season.

Good riddance ! He has done well for us fpr a couple of seasons but the last few days he has shown no respect to the club. whatsoever THFC will survive no one player is bigger than the club.

I don't really have any negativity toward him personally - that being said I still hope he flops at Real and Real win fuck all

Just because I feel it will reflect better on us - for a team to receive a massive fee for a player who then underachieves will be more satisfying than a player who goes on to bigger better things and makes you think what if

Plus I really don't like or respect Real as a club and I hope Barca dominate them and they do fuck all in Europe

My only reason for wanting Bale to do well in Spain would be the notion of him flopping and then coming back to England quickly in a Chelsea or Man U shirt

Yup - good luck Gaz, you've been awesome.

Shame about the 'toys out of the pram' stuff at the end, but you were instrumental in the most successful period the club has seen in recent years.

Knock 'em dead in Spain

Think i'll duck out of this thread now. Can't be bothered to read pages of fans slagging off the best player we've had in years.

You can be an amazing player and still deserve to be slagged off for being a prick to the club that made you, y'know. He's gone from being a stoic silent party to showing a total lack of respect for us and for AVB within the space of a day, just by not showing up to run around a bit.

Honest question, did Modric get a Good Luck thread?

Bale seems to be getting away it compared to Luka.

He won't be missed as much as Luka because collectively were stronger.

Levy has wanted to sell from day 1, he just wanted the right money. Bale's heads been turned by the biggest club in the world, I don't have any ill feeling for him, I just thank him for rescuing us from 9th place last year.
