If we turn a profit again then we can expect the club to be in the position to spend next summer as well if/where needed. If (a humongous if at that) ffp genuinely kicks in next summer we should be sitting pretty

Please no questions of the back of this. I've been told (via source) i've been giving too much detail away and that some comments have found their way back to the client.

We are gearing up for three signings to go through at the push of a button, at three different monetary levels. One you known, one's been mentioned, one is a suprise.

comically, i had no idea Lamela was done so tap that salt shaker, but the info is unquestionable.

Have I missed something?

Can someone fill me in on what this is in reference to?

There has to be some JD / Ade related movement of some sort. Still expect a centre forward

If we are to play 1 up front, both ought to be moved and can't really see it. Defoe has looked rather sharp coming in and playing against tired defenders. I've never been that huge fan, but reckon we'll be alright with Soldado and Defoe.

Swap Bale for loads of the best young talents in world football?

Go on then.

Crazy, crazy times.
Crazy, crazy, crazy times.

Sending Modric back on loan is the funniest idea for sure.

the cost for these players -
Lamela
Soldado
Capoue
Chadli
Paulinho
will not equate to the cost for selling Bale; even if these players were bought with the fee we planned from getting by selling GB.

All i say it thank you Bale!!!

Now imagine if we sold bale before we got Lamela, Soldado and Capoue. the fee would have been double. Well *fuck* done DL and Baldini and Big daddy Joe.

Not sure if we can put in RO yet. Checking with A&C

But basically my take is that we have three more signings on the way. One is Churces (known) One is somebody discussed here (not sure who but I think Eriksen) and one is a left field signing.

Hope that helps

Lamela, Chiriches and hopefully Eriksen and Coentrao would surely make us true contenders? I guess it simply comes down to how much time they all need to gel as to whether we can challenge this season or not. But the future looks amazing even without Bale.

So real are pissed at chelsea for nicking Willian and delaying it all, so in the end sweeten the deal to get back at them? Yeah ok... The enemy of my enemy, go for it...

Where's that from? The way that reads I would have guessed: Chiriches, the Dutchman from Middelfart, and a surprise?

Also: Did you know that Middelfart means "central passage"? The more you know!

From the Transfer Pledges thread:

Plus a bonus if we break our transfer record: £2 for every £1m we break it by (I'm assuming it is currently £16m).

Holy fuck, I'm in serious debt.

By my maths, it is:

Paulinho = £17m = £1m over the record = £2 donation
Soldado = £25.8m = £8.8m over the record = £17.60 donation
Lamela = £30m (I've included the add-ons because I'm a top bloke) = £4.2m over the record = £8.40 donation.

So a total donation of £28.

Correct?

Good thing we don't have Pleat waiting for our new signings at airport arrivals with a sign in his hand...

People would think he's some poor old drunk asking for 'Cointreau'.

I would just like to say that if the stories re Bale going AWOL are to be believed (and I do agree that that are just that - Stories without any authenticating), that he has seriously gone down in my estimations.

He is contracted to THFC End of Story!!!

I could leave it there, but I had utmost respect for GB, and would like to wish him all the best if he wants to move on. He hasn't siad that he wants to go anywhere else but RM, so some respect is due.

BUT.......

We have entered into negotiations to sell a player that we would really like to keep. We would rather he stayed, but if he wants to go, we have accepted his wishes.

IT IS NOT HIS DECISION HOW MUCH WE SELL HIM FOR, OR IF AT ALL. YOU ARE A SPURS PLAYER UNTIL WE SAY THAT YOU ARE NOT, AND THEREFORE HAVE TO MEET YOUR CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATION, AND TURN UP TO TRAINING LIKE THE REST OF THE SQUAD!!!

IT'S AN HONOUR TO WEAR THE THFC SHIRT, AND YOU DON'T DESERVE IT!!!

I never had him down as a petulant ****, but perhaps he has shown his true colours.

If there is no substance in the stories, then I retract this, but if they are true he can F*ck Off as soon as possible, as we don't need that sort of person at WHL
