I just cannot see what everyone is talking about that this makes it less probable that arse will sign someone from RM. They can have the deal agreed long before Bale is transferred. RM can put a clause that if Bale does not come then the deal is off. And if I remember correctly they will get some extra hours to do paperwork if the clubs can show that an agreement has been met(moutinho)

It stops them getting a boost before the NLD, and leaves Arsenal sweating on a transfer.

I still don't see how, Willian proved it's never too late to pull the plug on a transfer.
Nothing to stop RM agreeing fees, allowing talking to players and performing medicals without actually committing to the sales?

Interestingly, Eriksen is still featured on the Ajax website, whereas Lamela has been removed. Perhaps this is some insight into the status of the deal...or Ajax' IT nerds are just slow! :unsure:

yes because Roma announced Lamela has been sold, whereas Ajax have not announced Eriksen is sold.

Maybe because Overmars confirmed today that Eriksen is still a player of Ajax. And Roma have confirmed that Lamela is sold.
