Hi all,

My name is Jake from Canada. I will be visiting White Hart Lane to watch Tot vs Manutd in December. We all know that the tickets release in about a week from now. I was wondering if anyone could give me tips in obtaining the ticket. I've read a lot how difficult it is to get it online/phone. (I already am a bronze member) I really cannot afford to miss this chance to watch such a great match, I've been a fan of Tottenham since Young-Pyo Lee joined the team, if you guys recall him. I would love to sit in the west stand, lower tier, or upper.

Any advice is welcomed!

Presume you're a member?? If not then you need to join as they probably won't hit general sale. Other than that make sure you are logged on for the second they go on sale and you should be ok.

Otherwise you can go through the club endorsed ticket touts stub hub!!

Yes, I am a bronze member! I'm so hoping to get a seat in the west stand. There should be a huge chaos on the website though on the day of?

It's genuinely hit and miss, you might actually stand a better chance after today's result but make sure you're on as they go on sale promptly and you have a good chance

Yeap... today was really hurtful... was watching it with my buds and the room was pin-drop silent. :( I will go on as soon at 9:30am sharp, but is there a need to go on an hour or two earlier? (That's what I've been reading ..)

And I may consider selecting south stand for a better atmosphere! Would love to blend in with local fans

Try for the south definitely if you want the best atmosphere.

No, I honestly don't know (I have a season ticket), just hope you get one because you're obviously travelling a long way!

Hi Jake.

The tickets will sell out before the come available to non-members. As this is probably once in a lifetime for you, i'd buy a membership in advance to get yourself gthe best possible chance of getting a ticket early. There is no waiting list for the Lilywhite membership and it should be instant, although I would check with the club first.

Booking online is best although the website and queuing system is erratic at best. Jst try and get on early (before 9am BST) and you should get through eventually.

If you do, the last option is StubHub. Undoubtedly there will be tickets on there but due to the extra cost, it's best to try and secure the tickets directly with the club as soon as possible.

Thanks for your reply. I am already a bronze member and just waiting for the 14th of October for the tickets to release. I will get on the site early and see what happens. I would hate to go through SutbHub I must say, (although I probably will end up purchasing a ticket if I fail to purchase one through the club)

If you can, log on on two or more pcs. The progress bar doesn't always get to the end on the first machine you try! Also, get in the queue before 9.30 if you can. Good luck.

You'll need to be on there earlier than 9:30am, not sure how early though. If you're just buying for yourself then it shouldn't be too hard to find a ticket. Try logging in an hour beforehand maybe. I only get to go to a couple of games a season and I always go with my dad, so we sometimes have trouble because we're looking for seats together. Normally I log in about half an hour before and that seems fine.

Also, go for the South stand if you want a better atmosphere. It's cheaper than the West stand too.

Awesome advice. Thanks everyone. I will try exactly as you said. And yes, I'm already convinced by you and others as they recommended south stand over the else stands. Going for it!

Sounds like you have your ducks in a row, so one way or other i'm sure you'll be there.

I also recommend trying to get a south stand ticket if possible as the atmosphere is the best, particularly in the south-east corner.
