I hope all the optimists here that actually believed we deserved to be where we were in the league have got a massive fuck off bruise on their arses where they've crashed back down to earth.

Soldado is shit.
Holtby is shit.
Dawson is shit.
Walker is shit.
Sandro has lost it.
There's a few more I'm reserving judgement on.
AVB has taken us backwards. He will be sacked by Christmas.

Can't be bothered to comment on the others, but Sandro most certainly has NOT lost it.

Oh, and before I forget... This is all down to Levy. We should have gone for it when we had CL football and we totally blew the chance when we didn't strengthen the squad at all.

Levy has got a lot to do with this shit, but as someone said before, we should have built the squad over years and not in one season.

This is the bigger problem though. Even though we were riding high, several of us could see this coming. We could have rectified our shortcomings during that period. My concern is now it's too late and we could end up in free fall

lets be fair, we were as likely to give someone a hiding as we were to be beaten in this way. Unfortunately we came up against a side that had us sussed and outperformed us in every aspect of the game

Really torn. Never wanted a manager to succeed more than AVB but this cannot be defended. Don't think he'll get sacked after today but a heavy defeat against United may spell the end of him. Yet another managerial change at Spurs beckons...

I woke up about half an hour ago, dozed off fifteen minutes before kick off, so have had a nose and a read up on here and on the BBC. Correct me if i'm wrong:

Lloris gives the ball away twice, leading to two goals for them.
The second leading to Sandro deflecting the ball into his own net.
Navas gets a cross in past Kaboul and Aguero puts it in the net.
Negredo, Toure & Aguero team up for some quick passing through our midfield, into the box, score.
An obviously on form Negredo showboats past Dawson and scores.
Lamela tries some tricks, loses out, Milner forward, Navas scores.

I'm curious as to how this is all Dawsons fault and why he won't play again for some time, to use the words i've read here. Sounds like Lloris, most of our midfield and... well, pretty much everyone except Walker, deserves the finger levelled at them. Seems rather fashionable to bash Dawson recently so just wondered if there was any substance to this scapegoatery.

It's so much more fun being shit. When you're fighting for 4th every little mistake is soooo important it all gets too serious. I got soo wound up the last few seasons when we lost stupid games 1-0. Now it doesn't matter you can relax, it's just like being back in the 90's, so much more fun back then.
And what has always killed me inside is that 4th isn't anything tangible. It's not a cup you can display. It's a game you play against a team so that you might be able to make the group stages of a competition and play good teams before most likely being knocked out.

If any Arsenal fans try to have a laugh then remind them of the 8-2 at old trafford. Saying that atleast they scored.

Manchester City scored as many goals in that game from open play as we have in 12 league matches! Loic Remy has more goals from open play than we do as a squad! Aguero has more goals than our entire team has, including our 3 penalties! That's fucking outrageous.

With all that said, the season isn't over. But there is something very wrong with this team.

I'd take a wild guess at:

Possibly the worst weekend for me.. England losing the first Ashes test, Losing to NZ in the Rugby League World Cup with 10 seconds on the clock, Spurs getting thumped and now have to go round my mates house who everyone there is either an Arsenal, Chelsea or City fan.. Great..
