The sad thing is that this result isn't even the worst of our season. It's just the one that wakes those fans hoping that AVB's got something in the locker up to the fact that he has fucked our side completely. He's moved finally towards a reasonable starting XI today but the side is so emotionally fucked from what he's done earlier in the season that we just went to pieces after that first freak goal. And you know what, if we'd scored first we'd have just sat deep and waited for City to score and they'd have still thrashed us. Our entire game is about keeping it tight and stealing a goal. It's horrible to watch

I think its hard for levy not to with utd and Liverpool to come we aint getting anything there and the team is lacking confidence through not scoring.
He is taking us back to the bad days of midtable he has to go.

We looked poor but got results. We deserved better from the Newcastle game. I think AVB can see the problems and I'm backing him to fix them if he is given time.
I don't know whether AVB can even see the problems, but assuming he can I'm struggling to see what evidence you're seeing that he can fix them. Genuinely puzzled by your optimism.

Hopefully at some point in the next few days there will be some sort
of showdown between the manager and players and things will get sorted

I support spurs not because we win much but because we always play attacking, flowing football (majority of the last 30 years with a few exceptions) and you've taken that from us...leave!!!

That could be why we have won diddly squat compared to our rivals during that time. We need defensive stability as well as efficient attacking play to be successful.

AVB, get the fuck out of my club.

You have a squad capable of playing free flowing football, but your fear of losing has been holding us back. Your safe possession football devoid of any attacking intent has fucked us. This is the result.

Now fuck off. I believed in you and you only hurt me.

We are not getting CL football now.

Seriously fucking angry and pissed off right now.

AVB showed last season that he has the ability to address our problems.

Sacking him at this stage would be ludicrous.

I may be wrong but am willing to take the risk.

Feel sorry for our away supporters. Paying good money and take the time to travel to Manchester for that.

Fuck off AVB!!!! Just fuck off and take your negative backward thinking tactics with you. Absolute bottle job of a manager, can't even decide his own starting 11 after choosing to buy half of them.

How's a player supposed to develop into his role when they're consistently playing all over the gaff!!! Get out, leave tonight, fuck off!!!

I support spurs not because we win much but because we always play attacking, flowing football (majority of the last 30 years with a few exceptions) and you've taken that from us...leave!!!

Glad you're not over-reacting.

I disagree that Paulinho is the problem...

Definitely not the main problem, meant to quote someone else's post but wasn't working properly on my phone.

Our problem is the way we're trying to play. Regardless of formation/tactics/personnel the way we're trying to play is the same and it's awful.

Highline with Dawson
Verts at LB
Lots of possession and doing nothing with it
Slow build-up
No counter-attacking

I would say they're our biggest problems than any individual players.

We have possession than almost every team we play against but can't buy a goal.

53% of the possession and we lose 6-0. Still think AVB's philosophy of possession football win matches is still valid?

lets be fair, we were as likely to give someone a hiding as we were to be beaten in this way. Unfortunately we came up against a side that had us sussed and outperformed us in every aspect of the game
But we've come across too many teams like that, Big Sam had us sussed, Steve Bruce had us sussed...need I go on?

That's it. I've had enough. AVB hasn't got a clue. He just happens to be probably the luckiest man with regards to jobs offered to him. He had one. ONE good season at Porto with a squad of players who were much better than any other in the league and unsurprisingly done well. Off of the back if that he has managed to score two of the best jobs in the PL and still manage to keep people believing I'm him even though he has demonstrated on numerous occasions that he is way out of his depth.

I'm at the pub on my phone so am leaving it here but will comment further when o get home.
