If it wasnt for Lloris it would have been worse deffothey hit post twice and missed a few .could easily have been 9-0.

I think he needs to go away and have a look at the way he sees football being played. He is far too rigid to be successful in situations where he doesn't have exactly the right players. Just think about the way he wants football played and it is so clearly wrong. You must pass the ball quickly and there must be movement but he wants players to essentially stand still and pass the ball across the pitch in the hope that the opposition die of bloody boredom.Fair enough I suppose but I'm sure that we all want the best for this club but sometimes some people are not right for certain jobs and this looks the case here.
Whatever happens to avb over the next few days if he goes I wish him well and hope he is a success elsewhere.
Good shout, he seems to be a bit crazy but on a 1/2 year deal well worth a punt.My personal choice - Marco Bielsa (ex Argentine, ex Chile ex Athletico Bilbao manager).
Highly rated - Master tactician & a fucking task master. And if anyone don't know, Bielsa is Pochettino's Mentor. He changed Chile national team, from the grass root level.
He is the only top manager, who is in the market. Even he is currently in talks with taking Peru national team.
We need experienced manager at helm.
I love Spurs, always have and always will but there's no point in denying that we are in one hell of a mess right now. Not a single shot on target today, poor passing, poor defending and lack of pace for most of the game.
Outplayed and outclassed and not for the first time this season. We've scraped by against some inferior opposition and perhaps have been kidding ourselves we're better than we really are.
We know it takes time to build a team but why are we playing so poorly? Training? Tactics? Lack of confidence? All three? Do we blame the players or the manager or all of them? WE IS US?
I'm very sad after this latest performance and result. It hurts.
What an absolute numpty. And some guy on here wanted him as interim manager!
Cadena Ser , Spanish radio reporting AVB sacked....rumour or truth ?
What's the Twitter picture?
As are your ratings. He tried to play Sandro, but he broke down. Your thoughts are not worth anything.
Ade and Benny sharing a 5 finger salute.
TBH I don't blame them either. Ones been sent on loan despite being a top player the others been banishedfrom the team for what?

Don't really understand how we can be so exposed at the back yet isolated up front and non existent in mid field. It baffles me.
There is rotation, then there is changing the team every bloody game.
Harry never rotated, and AVB is over doing it. I though the whole point of rotation, was to give your usually best team players a break when needed.
Like some said earlier in another thread a week or so ago, Levy getting these players in one go has given AVB a massive headache as he is probably being forced to please everyone.
You build a squad gradually over time.
Four reason why AVB lost my confidence
i) LB situation - whether BAE had attitude problems or not - to loan him & replace him with Naughton/Rose.
ii) We had 2 CM who can pick a pass. One we loaned to QPR, other has been sold to Hull. And we replaced them with Paulinho - who is good player but really we needed a passer.
iii) Biggest of all- buying 7 players & not playing them regulalry. When you dont play them toghter, how canthey gel ? Vertonghen=Vlad not played together. Lamela, Eriksen,Soldado - not played together.
iv) Just when you think, a player has found form, you dont play him (except Soldado today)
its quotes like that make this thread worth it and cheer me up after such a dire performance and result. So glad I'm going to the Stoke game. Might finally get to see some flair at WHL.
