I also agree that certain sections are over stewarded to a ridiculous level.

You can't even face an opposition fan without being told to watch the pitch anymore.

I've paid £50 to watch a dross performance, I should be able to look around where I like. (no swearing or misdemeanors occurring)

What a load of nonsense, 1882 are proud supporters who make me proud to be ayid, we should all sing our heart's out, the atmosphere against man utd was Mmuch improved so even tho 1882 wasn't there I think they are an inspiration to us all, are 1882 going to cap one cup against westham?

I'm not au fait with twatter, but the re-tweeted bit is probably significant (and welcome) as, I presume, an endorsement of what TFC said.

Even more significant, I suspect, is the direct quote from Spurs' Supporter Liaison Manager in the second and third tweets.

;)

Indeed. That escaped me totally as I didn't recognise the gentleman's name or the acronym of his title.

Ye very poorly worded, its almost as if they are purposely tried to spin a story against the club...cough...agenda..cough..cough.

Vlub are trying to find a compromise which is fair, just goes to show, as some people thought, the lack of atmosphere affecting a lot of teams is due to stewards and over policing.

Highlights of last Monday's FA Youth Cup game. 1882 noise comes through very well! Love the whole team coming right over to us to celebrate the first goal too!

I'm so sick of our stewards. incompetent, belligerent and above any kind of reproach or scrutiny. I have tried emailing the club, I get no response. I tried videoing then to gather evidence they threaten to throw me out and ban me. I even avoid certain sections altogether now to avoid the worst.

Go to away games and it is a completely different story - At Fulham it was all "Good evening, sir", and "down the stairs, to your left, sir". I went to Aston Villa and was in the back row of the lower tier. The guy next to me was standing on his seat for a better view. Villa steward and our steward liasion comes over. Villa guy says "can you get your feet off the seats please", no problem, guy starts getting down and then our rep, a short, black, gobby woman chimes in with really sarcastic, nasty "this ain't your house you know".

We should start a tread thread cataloguing it, they can't ignore out for ever (hopefully)

Unless we get Raggyarse Rovers in the FA cup, there probably won't be another 1st team 1882 game this season.

I wanted to encourage people to go to the youth 1882 games that will be orgainsed later in the season. As well as being a laugh, you get to see future prospects and then look all knowledgable when the likes of Bentelab come on at the weekend!

He hasn't got a pre-made song from 1882 through - the only one I can remember is:

"Nothing rhymes with Bentelab!
Nothing rhymes with Bentelab!"

Poor bugger.
