when you've had a goal chalked off, played a half with 10 man and had a penalty awarded against you, all of which are unjust decisions you might as well accept it aint your day.

In all likelihood the game was never going to swing our way, they were just better than us. Thought we could have given it a go second half though, but will never know now.

Pretty much like the Liverpool game. We had a goal disallowed, two penalties not given and played half an hour with ten men (during which we conceded three goals).

Ah well, I expected a close game - normal service has been resumed. Lets face it - Liverpool deserve 4th. As for us - We should be top 6. Everton will finish above us...
Look on the BRIGHT SIDE at least Man City will be on top.

Man City are terrific going forward but I want a manager that can organise us so we don't get thumped 5 and 6 by them and Liverpool. I can take losing but these scores are depressing, feels like we've taken a huge step backwards in the last 2 years (not that I think Harry should have stayed).

Add to that, the sending off was always going to make it harder. Had he stayed on then no way would they have hit five. It would have ended 4-1 :p

We've worked hard and had it not been for the first 30 minutes I think it could have been different.
We move on but I am very concerned about some of tim's decisions and the fact that he can't keep our fully fit squad happy.
I think he won't play soldado, paulinho or Lamela and will continue with Bentaleb. Even sandro is in danger.
It will be Mousa and Bentaleb.

I am so angry, but not at our boys or fans.

We gave our all and were undone by the linseman.

I want Sherwood to come out and demand he be sacked. Gross negligence and incompetence.

At least we have a plethora of players coming back. Tim got it wrong tonight and should of had a stronger midfield 3 who can fight for the ball and tackle, Sig should not have started and Lennon was god-awful. Hate the way people hate on the defence, if you don't offer them the protection against a team like city then you need to look at the manager.

I really hope Lamela is given game time asap, Lennon can't keep turning in performances like this. Sherwood, For all his "play the spurs way and give the fans what they expect bullshit" really does not have a clue, There is so, so much that can be exploited out of our squad and yet no-one seems to make the most of it....Shocking! Will judge Tim on what he delivers when we have a fully fit squad. For now just ride the storm...

The 6-0 thrashing at City I could take because we were always going to be beaten the way they were playing. This time we were really in a place to win it. Should have been 1-1 at half time with us striding back in to it like we always do under Sherwood. Can't do that when the ref gifts them a penalty and us a red card. Fucking disgrace

I thought the 6-0 was when their season turned around, they were dropping some silly points until we showed them how to kill a team off.

Well it started with the wrong players selected by TS specially in midfield.
Then IMO taking of DEMBELE instead of Bentaleb - I just hope DEMBELE was injured.
Then the sending off of Rose.
Now the hammering at WHL.
Need to rebuild and it starts against hull Saturday ...

City are clinical. Pellegrini has made them a far better side that Mancini could. They are strong in every department and as I said, clinical, they don't waste many chances and let's be honest, they have tonked plenty a side this season so it is not just unique to us.

They also lost against Sunderland and villa. We showed them too much respect first half
