Here we go, load of fans thinking we should have been better.

You're looking at the best in the world now folks.
If it was Madrid or Barcelona or Bayern Munich that did that you'd not be so bothered.

Imo City will destroy all of those with ease.
Liverpool beat us 5-0 at WHL. Spammers put 3 past us at WHL!

We were just as bad in the first 30 mins against Palace. The only difference is City can finish. We would have grown back in to that game if it wasn't for the referee fucking us over completely

Exactly.

We should have been level at half-time. LEVEL. They weren't cheated out of any goals, they didn't suffer any disgustingly bad decisions. We had a legitimate goal disallowed.

After half-time, we could have dominated the way they dominated the first half. We've seen it happen, we've seen it happen this season. Anything that happened after Rose was sent off is totally irrelevant - because we were playing with ten men. So, instead of maybe dominating, we were being stretched all over the place due to being a man light! Instead of being 1 - 1, and maybe dominating, we were two down and a player down. Game ruined!

Not clutching at straws at all. They are the best team in the country ATM, no-one is disputing that. No-one is saying it would have been easy. Or that it would have been inevitable. But...we will never know, and we will never know thanks to one refereeing assistant making two decisions that meant that instead of being 1 - 1 a few minutes after half-time, we were 2 - 0 down and playing with ten.

Agreed. I'm going easy on bents as I like him and he did some good stuff today. Looked disjointed at times but he did contribute. Definitely not blaming him for being tim's main tool to drive home his point about him 'knowing' players blah blah blah, etc. etc.

It's a lot of pressure on him as tim has practically said he's the second coming.

But I think he would have been more effective if he was sat in the two of a 4231 tonight and didn't have such immediate attacking pressure on him through the middle.

Or played Bentaleb in a 3 with Capoue and Dembele, dropping Sigurdsson and pushing Eriksen up to left wide forward..

I want to see Soldado and Adebayor up top from now on, with Lamela and Eriksen on the wings behind them and Paulinho and Dembele/Sandro in the middle. The only game Soldado, Lamela, Eriksen, and Adebayor started, we won. Why not give this team a run out once Lamela is fit.

We cannot afford to just have Lamela and Soldado just be bit part players on the bench for the rest of the season. Their value will take a massive hit and to balance that, we'll have to sacrifice players like Vertonghen and Lloris to make up the difference.

Has anyone else noticed that under Sherwood we always start our games so slowly. Apart from United away and Stoke at home, we always start of second best and have to work our way into the match. At Southampton we let them run all over us fr the first 30, then it was the same again with Palace, they romped us in the first half. Not to mention Swansea starting better then us. Today against City they could have had 3 in the first 45 as well. I'm not sure why we always start our games so bloody slow, it happens far too much to be coincidental. Maybe Sherwood tries to win games through inspiration at half time. I know its never easy to start quick against City, but at times it was as if we were willing to give them space to work with, all in the hope of countering against them. I just can't help but feel its a bit bizarre.

Watching Dawson against Aguero is horrifying to say the least.

Needs to be moved along with Siggy.

Can't believe we turned down 11 million from Reading last season.

Fucking disgusting. That stupid naive twat will hopefully chose a stronger side against them next time. Just love to humiliate us don't they.

Hope we either play Townsend when fit and lamela. Siggy just ain't good enough and as much as I like Lennon, there is nothing there. Pace to burn but like a rabbit in headlights most of the tine

can you really blame him, bet hes sick of his reputation taking a hammering when hes offered such poor protection
Not really, he must have picked the ball out of the net more times this year than Defoe is usually off side in a year. Poor sod.

It's a worry trend for sure. It's happened too many times already to be a coincidence. Hopefully it's something that he's aware of and is trying to rectify because we can't continue to do it.

I think tonight gave us some really interesting food for thought...

Is it better to play with 10 men without Sigurdsson or 11 men with Sigurdsson? Really tough call for me.
What a stupid question, the answer is obviously "without Sig"... at least that that way you don't have to spend 90 mins wondering where he is.
