City. The more time that goes by that their money doesn't buy them the top slot in the league, the better. Let them buy the Champions League or cup competitions if thats what they want, but there is no-one there who actually cares a single jot about the club they play for, from the owners all the way down to the academy. The sooner their owner realises that he's being taken for a ride and milked for every penny by people who would have to go some lengths to care less about the shirt, the better, but it won't happen because he's reached that point in life where he can't even give it away quick enough to beat the interest it earns, let alone dent it. Horrible club now, and to think i used to have a bit of a soft spot for them.
The question (who do you want to win) is the opposite of the thread title. (Who do you least want to win) What a dastardly plan!
Liverpool.
I find it easier to dismiss any trophies bought by the chavs and Oil Money. Their 'success' is hollow (yes I'm sure their fans don't see it that way) - plus I'm used to it. The chavs winning it would merely be just another meaningless cup.
Liverpool winning it would be unbearable. Their fans would literally never shut up about it. The pundits and the media would drown in a cumfest, and it would put them in a better position to strengthen.
This with knobs on!
I have detested them for years and enjoy seeing them lose almost as much as the goons.
What makes it worse is that they really have played some wonderful Football. Anyone else, apart from the goons, and I'd genuinely enjoy watching them play as a neutral, a la Soton, but seeing Liverpool play that way just sickens me.
I like to think I'm a rational person, but Liverpool just bring the worst out in me, can't really explain why.

Chelsea, because they are a classless bunch of cads.
I'd actually prefer Liverpool to win it because it shows everyone (YOU, Mr Levy!) what can be achieved in two years by backing the manager and loosening the purse strings to sign players he wants, not just players the board deem to be good value.
eh?Yes because liverpool wouldn't go for players like siggs and dempsey?
Also we made £1.5m profit last year after a £4m loss the year before. Can't see how they can loosen the purse strings any further.
eh?
It's not about who they go for, it's about what they do with them. Henderson and Allen were not great in the first season but both - especially Henderson - have come on leaps and bounds this season.
Spurs could actually invest money that isn't generated by the club through sales. That would be a novel idea. This sell to buy policy is holding us back, despite being sensible business procedure. Do you want a successful business or a successful football club first and foremost? A successful football club IS a successful business, prioritising business first has not equalled a successful football club under Levy and co.
