Tuchel's resignation has been accepted at Mainz, in as much as they hired a new manager after refusing his resignation for a bit. I don't think he's headed here, mind you, but he should have a new club soon and we can stop discussing him.

I read somewhere along the line that he may take a season off before taking over the Red Bull Leipzig.

Still not us that he would be going to.

Wasn't every ITK except JJ?

I guess you don't remember me saying Bale was angry with DL and left the meeting fuming after he told DL he wanted out. Also his injury during pre-season was BS. He trained on his own and was perfectly fit.

Anyway it's all old news. No point bringing up Bale.

Didn't realise you were ITK, most of ITK were saying he would stay I thought. Don't get offended if you always said he would go

If he gets the boot from Real, where exactly is he going to go??
United job - gone
PSG - won't go back there
Barca - Gone
Milan - not available

There's a lack of other options so there's EVERY reason he could become our manager.
I actually think he will get the boot anyway, regardless of whether or not they win on Saturday.
Mind you, who would they have lined up to replace him, other than maybe Wenger if he doesn't sign new contract???

Bale was injured when he arrived at Madrid, he also missed a Wales game IIRC.

Yep, he struggled with niggling injuries for the 1st 2-3 months, which would suggest he wasn't match fit during the summer/pre-season

Its a bit like my daughters school shoes, you either buy a cheap pair and change them every 6 weeks, because they scuffed the shit out of them!! or you buy an expensive pair that last into the next term..

Im not doubting Poch FDB are good but, there is a difference between good and excellent!! if i were DL i would be waiting for Ancelotti, and pay him what he wants, the Elite managers dont come round that often, and by all accounts he has fallen out with the board, not to mention he could lose the CL final!!

Why buy the expensive pair as she'll only grow out of them, or get bored of them?

So today is FdB again? When will it be Poch again, tomorrow or Friday?

I choose to believe Daniel is waiting to see what happens with Ancelotti before making any decision.

We're led to believe that its so far down the line with Poch that its almost inevitable, however am I the only one who gets more excited about FdB as each day passes?

I'd say you're one of a diminishing few. :p

I see you've recovered from your conniption - blood pressure back to normal?.:D

He may not have the silverware but he's got the goods, wait and see, he'll hit the ground running...sprinting...pressing. You will likey.(y)

When you're finished with that crystal ball can I use it to check next week's lottery numbers?

Not really, the point is if you appoint a elite manager and back him, you will have a better chance of success!! instead of taking a punt on the latest manager who is doing well with another club..we have seen far to often that a manager doing well at a club, doesnt produce the same results at another club, or indeed at THFC

Yet the Elite managers invariably do well in every club they manage.

Same can be said for elite strikers, the best produce were ever they are playing.
