The Brazilian midfielder did not make a big impact at the London club last season.

His agent, Luiz Paulo Chignall, told calciomercato.com that the former Internacional player would welcome a move to Italy.

"We know that many clubs are interested in Sandro. He would like to play in Serie A, which is a very important championship, but now we have to wait to know if he can leave Tottenham or not," said Chignall.

Why don't you include the line where he says he'd like to stay in London and loves the club/fans? This is just a rehash scare story with cherry picked quotes.

Its basically a if I can't get into the team then he would like to go somewhere else where he can get into the team.

My thoughts are that he had a very serious knee injury and isn't the same player he was pre injury at the moment.

He needs a good pre season behind him and a good injury free run to see where he really is at post injury.

I am a little disappointed that he seems to want to waltz back into the team when he clearly hasn't earnt it and on not doing so wishes to give up and bail out. Makes me question his character TBH.

If not, its very old news.

I don't see any problem. He clearly says it depends on whether we want Sandro. If we don't he would like to play in Serie A.

Chignall acknowledged, "I think that Tottenham want to keep him." But he was also clear to state, "I cannot rule out that they decide to sell if there will be a good offer."

"Roma and Napoli? We have not had any direct negotiations,” agent Luiz Paulo Chignall told Calciomercato.com.
“We know that many clubs are tracking Sandro, because he has characteristics that are rare on the transfer market. He’s a modern player.

“We have not received any official proposals at the moment, though we do read many rumours in the papers.

“Would he like to play in Italy? Everyone would love to play in Serie A, as it’s a very important League. Now we must wait for the summer transfer market to open, then we’ll know if he can leave Tottenham or not.

“At the start of the year Sandro came back strong from injury, he likes London and has a great rapport with the fans, who consider him to be an idol.

“Tottenham want to keep him, but we cannot rule out a club making a good offer and them deciding to sell.

“We need to wait, as right now the player is in Brazil with his family and friends to rest after the season.”

Please don't post stuff like that without at least finding the full story, those quotes don't really sound the same do they?

Translate as a spanking brand new improved terms contract.

they have taken the link down already, either that or irate Tottenham fans have crashed their server

Hopefully they took it down after feeling guilty about trying to mislead us but the second scenario seems more likely.

I really dont get this bit

If you had finished the post after "He needs a good pre season behind him and a good injury free run to see where he really is at post injury." it would have been OK.

The guy has always given everything for the club whether in good form or not.

He is the player we should be organising the team around and we will see perform at an improved level next year

But he is making the noises about maybe moving on isn't he?

Hence my questioning his character.

I don't care about his beast bollocks etc,

if he is not perfoming on the pitch he won't get selected for the team.

That is the bottom line.
