If Dawson is to leave I think it is a necessary evil, on one hand you couldn't get a more passionate player who fights for the cause, has spurs in his blood and carries himself on and off the pitch as a leader should....unfortunately he is found wanting in the ability department. A good solid centre back but an area we need to massively upgrade. Hope Dawson goes on to have a good spell in a solid PL club

I like Livermore. I think he's an inspiration to all the kids who are not very good at football, but who still want to believe they can become professionals.

Its called the Neil Ruddock effect.

Gives hope to sunday league players everywhere

btw, if any of you lot can actually play and live near Basildon, come join my Sunday team. New team and they have stuck me straight in the Prem

Only if there is a post match social in BasVegas!!! Wasted some of my youth there... A place where the girls judge a man by their shoes to see if they can afford to buy them drinks for the night!

I'll miss Dawson. Our team is barely recognisable now from the CL season. I fear those will be seen as our glory days of the modern era if this group of players don't pull the finger out this year.

Good stuff, expect things will pick up as soon as pre-season training starts.

When he sees how bad some of our players are (or their attitudes to his methods),

Hopefully the itk should increase from then too.

Well the transfer market has been open a day and a half and we haven't signed anybody yet!

Nice to see us lagging behind everyone in the transfer market as usual. Changing managers every year means we are forever playing catch up and slipping further behind. Our main rivals will have new players in place to go on their pre-season trips and we will still be futtering about

Talk on Swansea sites that they might be holding out for more than £8m now for Davies. Perhaps Huw Jenkins initially thought 8 was a good deal, then heard the uproar and is trying to squeeze a few more million out of us.

I also read that a second team may have got involved?? Someone more ITK than me like to confirm....

Apparently Southampton is the second team involved.

Lagging behind who? United are panicked after their shit-tastic season, Liveprool are spending Suarez-money to soften the blow, and Chelsea are being Chelsea. We can't afford the players they buy, so we have to spend more time finding the right fit. Last year was an anomaly, and anyone expecting a repeat are going to be sorely disappointed.

Personally my worry is that constant new managers means too many new purchases. I'd rather we patch the obvious holes, and the fact that we already seem to be in advanced negotiations for a new LB is encouraging in that regards.

Fuck me, if Livermore turns into Rudock he is in trouble. The Neil Ruddock I saw singing Kareoke (spelling!) the night before last in Portugal in a pub. He is seriously, seriously in trouble. 10 stone plus overweight now! Monster size. Not ITK, just what I saw.....
