(Possible) Interesting development (but maybe not best for Spurs).

Hajduk just sold Franko Andrijasevic to their bitter rivals Dinamo Zagreb.

Here's how this (might) affect the Balic to Spurs transfer.

Hajduk is reportedly going to receive 750.000 euros. Not a small fee (for them). It is much needed funds and may well indeed strengthen their hand in the Balic to Spurs negotiations. I know some reports were saying that they already agreed a fee and all that (agreement between the two clubs), but it's now being suggested that Hajduk may not "need" to sell now/anymore, or at least not at a cut-price deal.

It comes across as speculative (how the two tie in together), but passing on nonetheless.

Balic is training with Hajduk's first team, but is not in the squad for today's Europa League qualifier vs. Dundalk.

Vlasic, however, is in the starting line-up, and becomes Hajduk's youngest ever player to start a European match for the club (16-years-9-months).

Quickly goggles Blanka Vlasic.

A) Those are flattering pics, and B) feel free to call me ghey but hella tall and skinny is not my thing. I like my women about 5'6"-5'7" and with some "personalities."

She is build for speed not power... The kind of low percentage body fat. Thighs clothes look horrible on her...

Yeah i also like a little cushion for the pushing so to speak. But in the right outfit, she does look attractive....

And frankly... I would... Thou i don't think i can keep up with her. :ROFLMAO:

Yeah that's just it, never had a thing for girls who did track or cross country. Fiddled around with a cross country chick for a little while in college because I found it intriguing she was skinny but still had such large breasts, but even then after awhile I lost interest due to how incredibly skinny she was. Just really not my thing, and this girl is way in that demographic.

But if her brother is a baller and does eventually make it to Spurs, I'll be happy to see Dinpomp post more of her comments on his games here nonetheless.

Sporting-wise, she's an Olympic silver medalist (high jump) and has won numerous championships. Good family genes.

Their father is somewhat of a fitness "genius" and helped "condition" them from an early age. He's a former decathlete. He's been very involved in developing Nikola into a footballer. Claims he has tremendous physical attributes to succeed at the sport (which he identified at a very early age). Hajduk actually hired the father to be their fitness coach for the youth teams and the results were very good (while he was with them). He's also been an athletics coach for Croatia's Athletic Association. In some ways he can come across as an overbearing father, but considering how well balanced his children seem to be, and the results that have achieved, it's more like having a personal trainer as your father. They have a good relationship and he's definitely helped them along the way.

It will be interesting to see how Vlasic fares this season. He should get meaningful minutes. The Croatian league can't compare with Europe's best, but it's still a strong test for a 16/17-year-old.

We don't seem to be after Vlasic though. At least not from your latest post. Only after Balic

Spurs definitely were/are, along with a number of other clubs (like Roma who have been showing a lot of interest lately).

Balic is the one that was "very close" to being finalized. Still might be. But that doesn't mean there isn't (still) interest in Vlasic. He'll be harder (more expensive) to get though.
