I think the article sums up well why he isn't getting the adulation many young English players get when they start scoring in the Prem.
A lack of pace, scoring at a time we were apathetic and the fact he has been around so long so we already know about him rather than him bursting onto the scene.
It feels a bit like Utd bringing through a youngster under SAF right now. He's keeping a low profile, he is part of the squad, level headed guy and some rate him while others question him.
We live in a football world where pace and athleticism are heralded. The reality though is a top class defender can handle someone who simply has pace. Intelligent movement, being ahead of the curve and a good finish are the keys to breaking a good defence and Kane has it.
Keep developing him at a slow pace and we'll have a good player on our hands.
