I know I'm no Japanese bird but I'll pass on that if ok with you.....
Two hours left so I am still holding out that we have last minute attempts for our targets as suggested in some of the ITK. It's been a pretty good window in strengthening the squad but we could use a couple of quality signings to keep up with othersMaybe we were spoiled by the CL nights etc but because of them we expect nothing less than CL or at least come extremely close to qualifying for it, i know i do
And where exactly do you see regular goals coming from in our team???
no chance imoI think we will go big in January IF results show we need to.
Just thought the same. He's got a lot of talent.
This window wasn't about signing those players, we have those players. This was about shoring up the squad and cutting out some dead weight.Ultimately we needed 4 players this window: A LB signed which I'm happy enough with. A CB signed who is unproven. A CM who can get hold of games which isn't going to happen. A CF who will score 20+ goals which isn't going to happen.
This has not been a good window as far as the XI is concerned.
Nearly 5 hours since ITK, I fear for their safety!
missed out to OxfordHopefully we can make a late swoop for Heskey, then I'll be happy with this window
I love how all the usual suspects jump on any rumour and twist it to suit their nnegative view of Levy/Spurs.
You think wrong!I think we will go big in January IF results show we need to.
Or our wage structure is not a big draw.. however don't let that stop you having a pop at Pochettino
Spurs a bigger club than Everton and VillaWe're only currently a bigger brand because of ENIC, there's nothing historic to say we should be. Same goes for Villa.
Welbeck to the Goons. Sucks. Sandro gone too. He will own our midfield on his own at Loftus Road.
As far as I'm concerned that's fucking brilliant. Our squad's got stronger, we've trimmed the fat, and somehow we've turned a profit! The only reason for concern would be if the shareholders were taking the profit out of the club, or if they were planning on investing it in something daft. Neither is the case, in fact we're generating profit to invest in making us stronger which means our ambitions have a better chance of being achieved.
Frankly if folk have trouble understanding this then they should ask themselves whether they really have the insight or the smarts to be commenting. I'd liken it your kid trying to offer an opinion on the way you manage the household finances.

yes. I thought it. Would be illegal given conflict of interest and all that.I hope nobody on this website uses sky bet it's obvious what they are doing.
Really?
How is it any worse than selling Bale to Real and then Real turning around and selling Ozil to Arsenal?
Just because we didn't sign a big name doesn't mean you have to act melodramatic. This is a successful window simply because we didn't end up selling off our best players.
and the teams that finished in front of us have gone out and spent money on 1st class players world beaters if you will. Spurs have bought no 1st team players ( maybe Fazio will be a partner with Verts this season) Dier might come good but we will sell him in 3 years. We spent £100m on players last summer and it didn't work and people moaned.
Now people want us to do it again.
The squad is good, young, versatile and talented.
Time for the Manager to work with it!!
Well frankly I'm expecting a large chunk of that stadium to be paid off already based on 5 years of no net spending and added investment given extra tv money.
