Ah, yes, because we were dominating the league before Enic came in. THIS is an embarrassment, half the board is reacting like children who've been denied a chocolate bar just because we haven't made a massive deadline day signing.

Wrong. Most of are utterly pissed off that for the ucking umpteenth summer the club have not got what we so desperately need up front.........A STRIKER WHO IS NOT A LAZY, SELF INTERESTED **** AND WHO CAN ACTUALLY STICK THE POXY BALL IN THE NET ON REGULAR BASIS!!! Thats not childish mate, its just feckin frustrating.

Nobody had ever heard of these players before this window. If aston villa had signed this lot you wouldn't have blinked.

Haven't we asked why we haven't signed cheap talents before they become full blown stars. The club is answering our pleas.

IF you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!'

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
' Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch,
if neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

That's pretty good, how long did it take you to write it?

Build from the back and in that respect, we've got a lot of ingredients for Poch to work with.

Forward areas, hopefully rectified in January but more likely next summer.

I'm happy with the squad we have. The players we let go were the ones that many were glad to see go, instead of ones we couldn't keep hold of.

The incomings have strengthened the defensive side of the squad, and hopefully our signings from last season will have settled.

Watching the BBC coverage on the red button, mentioned about how somebody (can't recall who) rated Fazio as one of the top 5 CBs in the world before his injuries. Someone else mentioned he's an absolute beast in the air. Not all doom and gloom lads.

I'm pretty happy. Gutted that Sandro is leaving but we've brought in some solid pieces especially at the back. If this is a five year plan then this is a great start as we are building a good foundation and will learn Poch's style throughout the year. Then we can add the spark once we have developed our base.

Spot on. I'm disappointed we didn't bring in another attacker, but I think we've brought in the pieces we need to build upon. Our defense and central midfield is just so poor against the top sides, and I'm hoping that with bringing in players more amenable to Poch's plans, we have built a base to build upon. We have talented players in central midfield, but we absolutely do not have the players most conducive to Poch's style. With Stambouli, we've taken a step in that direction. In the back, we've solidified with some great pickups.

It's my hope that with these pieces in place, the benefits can also transition to the attack as the back and middle solidifies. If so, then we can be all the clearer as to what we need in attack come January or next summer.

Personally, so happy to see our central midfield addressed. Likable and talented characters there, but not enough diversity among them and they were so ineffective against top sides at establishing any sort of gameplan. Hopefully on and up from here.

I'm delighted to have joined QPR FC and look forward to working with Harry Redknapp again.

I'd like to thank Tottenham Hotspur for everything they've done for me. Spurs has been my home since I moved to England and I loved every minute of my time there. To the fans; I'll always have a special relationship with you and can't begin to express how much your support has meant to me, particularly in tough times when I was injured.

I can't wait to get started at QPR now and look forward to wearing the famous hoops for the first time ‪#‎COYRS‬
So fucking gutted by this. Love you Beast :cry:

MS- couldn't afford, wellbeck- trumped by our rivals, JR- was never gonna happen, lovren - couldn't compete, Lallana - same as lovren, bony ? the list goes on, all of these would of improved us and we got none! What a joke

Stambouli just said the words Chris "Magic" Waddle in his interview on the OS, I have a feeling everything's going to be ok.

You hope the squad is now stronger it is all conjecture on your part at the moment. If you have difficulty grasping that concept, perhaps you should refrain from commenting

You're right, it's my opinion that the squad is stronger, what's yours.

You make a fair point and one in any other aspect of life I would agree with, but surely yesterdays match is an illustration that whilst this is admirable, we lack something considerable in certain areas, and quite frankly a football club is not an FTSE 100 organisation to maximise profits, it is a form of entertainment and Spurs up until the last decade were pioneers in the transfer market from Greaves to Ardiles to Waddle to Gazza to Klinnsmann to Ginola - We have always invested to capture the imagination of the nation, this is now lost! Yes we have to balance the books, save for the stadium etc. etc. but if your product is shit you will loose in the long run!

Rogers finished 8th or something in his first season.

I may be in the minority but I'm content.
My main want was a LB and CB. Always thought Schneiderlin was a bonus and fact we've signed exact same type of player to replace an injured player is great.
Poch is here for a reason. If the squad was so utterly hopeless then we should never have sacked AVB and Sherwood. Pochettino is here to get the best out of a talented squad of players. 90% of which were shadows of their potential last season. If he gets them playing to their potential which I'm confident of we'll have a good season and better 69pts.
One point of note, if Lennon was not wanted and refused to go I'd like Cebellos to move ahead of him in squad. He's talented, pacey and good on ball. There's something for a manager who likes developing young players to work with there.
