If they can't bring in Messi and Ronaldo then they're not good enough for us and will never take us to the next level.

Consider this post my application for the 'Mullers role' for the duration of the Guggenheim/Cain Hoy era here on SC.

Cain Hoy formed yesterday, backed by Guggenheim Capital - think many billions.

They issued a press release today stating interest in Spus, have until October 10 to make formal bid or withdraw interest. Spurs have publicly denied any ongoing discussions.

Guggenheim Partners, also backed by Guggenheim Capital, recently purchase American baseball team LA Dodgers, and began investing in making the team better. If this group makes an actual offer, they have the money to make it work, and if they take the same approach as with the Dodgers, this would be good for Spurs.

Plus, they might name the new Stadium - The Guggenheim - which would be a cool name for the stadium.

Thank you!

They've finished above us once after we had a turbulent season. I would hardly say they've taken us over.
They were 5th, we were 6th. So they over took us.
Although by your logic you probably thought we had over taken Chelsea when we finished above them a couple season back.
Chelsea won the FA cup and the Champions league and qualified for the Champions league.
We qualified for the Europa cup and won NOTHING.

So no I didn't think that.

So the club say they have met with Cain Hoy, but only to discuss financing options, yet Cain Hoy was only formed yesterday.

So it means they actually met the people who are now Cain Hoy, but under a slightly different guise at the time, adding fuel that Cain Hoy as it stands today has been set up specifically to purchase THFC

The club will one day be sold to Arab Oil, or American Finance, so we may as well all just relent now and get on board. HOTDOGS, GET YER HOTDOGS.

That's what I was going to say- they may have been set up for this specific reason...

And as many blindly dislike his control and show no understanding or appreciation of many positives. Certainly the more vocal of the two groups are those that would prefer to be sold. In my opinion.

They are called the vocal minority, and they always ( in anything) make the most noise.

Everyone is just ignoring the fact that FFP means we can't just be bought and hundreds of millions spent to buy us the title.
ManCity says otherwise. ManUtd also challenging that notion this season.

Money can be spent, it just has to be spent wisely.

They could sell naming rights to WHL today to raise revenue to spend on the club, if they were so inclined.

With the amount of money Abromovich has lavished on the team I would say that is about par. Where as we actually overachieved by finishing above Chelsea.

Man Utd actually bring in the 2nd most revenue of any football club in the world. They stated they wouldn't be breaking FFP rules even if they had bought one player for a world record fee. So I think they are alright.

Man City broke the rules and were sanctioned.
