Make sure you don't get dragged into a slagging match, coopsie. It's not worth the repercussions.
Absolutely, Stoof. I've never got involved with anything other than plain old discussion & I've not once risen to his attempts to get me to respond to his goading. I even took photos of his admission on twitter (that he is just holding up the project for as long as possible) and added those pics to the emails I sent to Pickles & Levy, before the CPO was granted.
For once in my life, I've got no interest whatsoever in getting involved in a slagging match with them. They're just being stubborn and, in my opinion, are allowing their stubbornness to dictate their actions. I think they're perfectly aware that their appeal will be dismissed, just as I'm certain that their solicitors are far from acting in the best interests of their clients, and are simply ensuring they earn as much as possible from all of this.
It seems extremely likely that Pickles made sure the decision was watertight (hence the massive delay), so the only thing Archway are likely to come away with, is a monumentally huge legal bill. I believe they'll not only have their own legal costs to cough up, but also the costs of the THFC/Council legal team?
