This is a team that if they'd taken their chances would've knocked a full strength Arse out of the Champions League.
And but for an almighty brain fart on top of an almighty fuck up, we would have beaten them with our second string.

Poch is finding out (not about just out) players now, and they are getting further away from 1st XI

Games like this will save seeing those errors in the league...

When we make 10 changes from the team that did well at the weekend including every outfield player it shows the manager doesn't care about the Europa. So WTF should we care either ? What do you expect ?

It's a squad game mate. Our second string should have enough to get us through this group and if we played the same 11 today as we will on Sunday then Southampton would beat us. Look where AVB got us by playing the same 11 in both competitions.

We aren't remotely good enough to make a serious impact in this competition. And everyone is so snooty about it, as though playing in the europa league is below us...

Will get battered by some of the better teams, as shown when Benifca turned up at WHL last year.

We have a horrible habit of not winning games. This doesn't breed confidence. Sunday worries me, if we get beat and then the international break all hell will break loose

if we're going to make 10 changes I agree with you. It was a stupid decision.

Chirices had a nightmare, but I still like him. At least he has a touch of technical ability about his game, which is more than you can say for the majority of Spurs players out there tonight. I'd like to see him given a go in midfield in the next EL game.

Technical ability in a defender is a bonus rather than a primary attribute. Nous, consistency and discipline are far more important. Gary Neville is a perfect example. Chiriches is a cast iron liability.

A lot of people going OTT as usual. Besiktas are a very good team who should have beaten Arsenal's first 11. A poor ref who missed a stone wall penalty cost the Champions League football. They could go all the way in this competition.

That was our second string tonight, certainly the back 4 and most of the midfield. And only a dreadful error by Chiriches cost us the game.

West stand today. Some of the most miserable supporters I've ever seen and heard. 90min of moaning and almost disappointed when Kane scored.

Soldado was a class above on the pitch and got no service. And poor Paulinho spent the evening on the wing. Odd.
