Maybe that is the answer then. Switch him inside for kaboul and bring in..shudder..naughton. but I have tbh. Despite his flying start he is still very raw.
I wonder if Davies could do a job on the right?
Exactly. Some people refuse to see it.Naughton is perfectly fine at RB.
Think we'll win enough away games to be nowhere near a relegation battle. Said at the start of the season we'll finish anywhere from 6th to 8th and haven't changed my mind ( yet! )People going on about giving Pochettino time, I certainly agree that he's not to blame. The players are just not good, as I've been saying for months. But I'm not sure the hierarchy will be able to be as patient as has been suggested when we are near the bottom three. There's a relegation battle on here, absolutely no question.

Thankfully we won't sell Lamela.I think we have it all wrong at the moment, system is being dictated by player who aren't performing. With 4231 we have no width. Just watch swansea play,2 wingers have chalk on their boots all game. Play 4411, sell lamela in jan, buy 2 fast wingers and go from there. Start playing exciting football again full of pace and attack
It might be a horrible thing to admit, but West Ham have actually been very savvy in the transfer market this summer and are proof that you don't need to spend millions to get players who can fit this league and make a difference.
We on the other hand spent the Bale money like a chav with a lottery win.
There is no cohesion or strategy to our transfer policy. It's the obvious targets (whi we inevitably can't get as they want too much money and we have too many competitors) or players who are cheap or alternatively don't suit the PL or the system the current manager wants to play.
We end up with a bloated and unbalanced squad.
We can't keep blaming the managers.

Scary to think that West Ham have the potential , with new stadium on the horizon as ours seems to be a more distant prospect as each day passes, to become Londons third club as we move further down the pecking order. I hate being in Arsenals shadow and realise Chelseas money has put them where they are. But I will struggle to tolerate West Ham becoming better than us.
Ade scored one goal when the ball was planted on his head. The guys a disgrace. there must be something going on behind the scenes for poch to keep playing him. Everyone can see his lack of interest. Surley no one can defend him anymore. (btw second half the whole team were crap also )
Post of the day. So true."Ade has really turned things around last few years"
"Ade is and always has been a lazy ****"
"Poch is brilliant and should be given time"
"Poch is shit and has no experience and we should have appointed X"
"Poch wheels out the same team every time and he needs a plan B"
"Poch should play a consistent starting 11 so they get used to eachother"
"Soldado is shit"
"Soldado is class"
"Let's just accept this is a transitional season and try and enjoy it"
"There are no signs of things getting better which is a disgrace. I'm not going to games anymore"
Don't you realise we as the fan base are part of the problem?! We are fragmented, irrational and impatient. Both collectively and individually. Its getting so embarrassing. Sort it.
Why would we sell Lamela? Seems a slightly stupid thing to do, given he has shown the potential in patches that he could develop into our most exciting Attacker.
It is not the travel it is only having 2 days rest. They did research a couple of years ago and proved that only having 2 days rest between games effects athletic performance. Several countries FA's actually schedule games on a Monday for teams that have played in the Europa. How the hell can the team be tired with no travel, a relatively straight forward win on Thursday evening and this early in the season.
Its not like it was an identical eleven either. Energy levels should be fine.
Its how we start games, it how we always start. Softly, softly. And its not just now, it been like this for ages. We never start fast and aggressive and let the team know they're we're bang up for it. We did against QPR and then shat ourselves when Liverpool came the following week for some inexplicable reason.
How you start games invariably set the tone, definitely at home anyway. Will keep saying it until I'm blue in the face and we rarely every do it.
I know we had superior quality, but look when we hammered Liverpool 4-0 a few seasons back and Modric scored the worldy and Ade got a brace. That was an aggressive performance.
