That's why we'll never have that type of manager while Levy is there.

Levy chose Poch, in part, I think, so that he could get the best out of our Spanish speaking players (Lamela and Soldado). It didn't work out, did it? Lamela and Soldado remained brilliant technical players who are completely unsuitable to the EPL.

Buying the wrong players is part of the game. Every club has been guilty in doing so. But never in my over 4 decades of following football have I seen so much money spent on so many unsuitable players in so short a time.

You really think he bought in Pochettino because we have 2 Spanish speaking players....?

Levy has to realise that the Director of football model is not working. Over the last 2 summers we have signed 12 players most of whom are not even regulars in the team let alone been successful signings. This does lead you to think that AVB and Poch wanted players ABC and Baldini went out and got players XYZ, or as they were/are Head Coach not Manager do they have a say in the signings.

While I appreciate that Levy has given us a taste of the CL, I think he has brought us as far as he can go. Losses at home to two clubs occupying the last 3 bottom places (at the time they faced us) are unacceptable. The slide now is obvious and may even accelerate.

I don't know if Poch is the answer tbh but I'm willing to back the guy give him a chance. However its in Levy DNA not to give anyone a long term shout ever.So until he goes its the same underlying problems with dof etc

How can we even begin to wonder why thers not enough fight in the team. When all we do is just sell everyone who seems to matter to us.what Top Manager would want half a managers role.

Do our fans not realise that Levy's actions are controlled, to a lesser extent, by these self same fans?
Crowds constantly booing the team at the Lane, berating players and managers. (Who knows maybe even sees the diatribe sometimes posted on sites like this one)
Do fans not think that Levy hears these things and that it can then have an influence on how he reacts to them?

Since the end of Harry Redknapp's term as manager the quality of the squad individually player-wise has steadily declined....because Spurs' just haven't really gone after players in transfer window after transfer window. Now we have a squad of players largely bought on the cheap and are really no more than blue-collar ordinary players. Resulting in Spurs' being a blue-collar, lunch-pail, mid-table team. I blame Levy for that.

I cant agree with you. Look at some of the teams above us and doing well now and can you really say those squads/players are better than ours? I don't think so. They are organised and know what they are doing and their weaknesses are protected. Example, look how West Ham played Man City and compare with how we played them. Maybe after the game some of our players like some fans on here said 'it was Aguero, he is world class and will give most teams the run around..'. Not all true, he will come up with one or two decisive moments per game but lets see how many times he scores 4 or gets 5 or 6 good chances in one game like he did with us. I think some of our guys think they are better than they actually are and they have nothing to prove, they cant get out of that mind set.

Imo, and I have no proof of this, but this is the real reason Redknapp was sacked. Maybe not the whole reason but I suspect a big chunk.
Harry just isnt a yes man and Levy wants to run it himself with a dof yes man.
Thats my theory anyway lol.

Well if he is he shouldn't be.
Explains everything if he is.

Well your theory is wrong it had nothing to do with why Redknapp was sacked.

Spoken to Levy have you?
May well be wrong but not knowing the spurs board or Harry on first name basis as you obviously do it does seem to me from my humble position that Levy likes to be in charge of everything.
Even having an influence on the starting 11, possibly.
Can you give me his number please?
like to have a few words myself.
edit- sorry for sarcasm mate. I've got proper arse ache and lashing out at ever bugger lol.
I should get off here for few days.

That must be why he tried to get Van Gaal the yes man then.

The latest piece (Tuesday 28th October) by Matt Law in The DT is worrying, because there appears to be more leaks from within the club. The leaks are also worrying as the report states that there may be untouchables: Townsend's name comes up in a negative light, Eriksen and Lamela being regarded as untouchable. Oddly enough, Adebayor's name doesn't feature, but Kane's lack of a start is cited as causing bafflement to players. The Spanish-speaking players are also not speaking English on the training ground.
I do wonder about all the above as they can be countered quite easily. Kaboul does come across well, surprisingly. My main regret is that we let Siggy go.

We've bought to many doves tbf Sherwood was 100% right all a long. Levy has been responsible for going with the cheapest options tooo many times.

players I would let go imo. No.1 Vertonghen. Kaboul. Soldado. Dembele. Adebayor Key positional players all have great technical abilities but f mentally weak
