Personally I don't believe there is anything in the ITK about Kaboul/Capoue/Ade being dropped because of factions in the squad. I simply think is due to poor form.

It's clear to anyone who has been watching us for the past few games that those players have not been performing well. Poch obviously spent the international break reviewing our matches and has drawn the same conclusions.

Okay, but why would they be dropped out of the entire match day squad?

We had two kids on the bench.

That leaves only two possible conclusions: injury or MALCONTENT.

I noticed Kaboul was in the training pictures yesterday but didn't see Ade or Capoue. Where there seems to be some theory that Ade is having personal issues with creatures from another dimension and such and such, there appears to be no news on Capoue whatsoever. He wasn't even named in the original ITK hasn't been declared injured AFAIK and is just AWOL.

Tis a mystery alright.

Agreed. I can believe that Poch decided to drop the underperformers, but 3 players who have been pretty much ever present in our first team including the club captain and vice captain from the entire match day squad? Not happening, unless injured.

Ade is supposedly injured. It could just be that Poch felt he had to make an example of Kaboul/Capoue as they weren't following tactical instructions.

according to physioroom, listed below are the reportly injured players:

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR 7
R Soldado Knock no return date
E Adebayor Back Injury no return date
N Chadli Knee Injury no return date
A Townsend Ankle/Foot Injury no return date
D Rose Chest Injury no return date
N Bentaleb Ankle/Foot Injury 27th Nov 14
K Walker Groin/Pelvis Injury 27th Nov 14 Late Fit Test

source: http://www.physioroom.com/news/english_premier_league/epl_injury_table.php

ade's back injury could be suspicious. most of the time "back injury" could hardly been visually identified and some clubs often use this as excuse not to play certain player for certain reason behind the scene. still remember many years ago bale's back injury after joining us from so'ton saved the club some money. Lamela said he WAS NOT injured when he arrived the Lane and yet AVB refused to play him for the same "back injury" reason. Whether the injury is real one or not it doesn't really matter, but the fact is Ade is REPORTEDLY suffering from a "back injury" and now we can expect not seeing him in the first team squad for certain period of time.

Soo.....regardless if Ade's injury is legit or not....according to this we now have Kane as the only healthy striker and even Chadli (who we could push up into that slot if needed) is carrying a knock. Well, that's fun.

this could just be reference only, most of the time it is accurate but sometime it could be wrong. for instance i cannot find Diaby on gooner's list...(n)

I'm told this has come from COYS just now.......

From prof...

First time that DL has backed a manager against senior players. We're in terra incognita here.

This has had a very positive impact on MP and the squad. Training has been much improved as those who weren't putting in the effort are now doing so, as they know they do not have support from anyone in the leadership hierarchy. MP has promised his players that if they give him 100%, the team will have success.

Since the events of last week Lennon has been working hard. He doesn't want to leave. He wants to prove he is worth keeping.

DL very bluntly told Adebayor that he's had enough of his negative influence, and if he doesn't support MPs vision then he'll be treated the same way as BAE. This has rattled Adebayor as he'd come to think of himself as untouchable.

MP is significantly impressed with the skills and the attitude of some of our U21 players and is looking for opportunities to move them into the first team squad, which would allow promotion of talented youth team players to the U21s. This plan depends on moving on some unwanted players in the January window. If we can't then he'd prefer they were playing regularly for the U21 and youth teams than being too far down the pecking order in the first team squad.

You would think after AVB banished Ade that he would know that he isn't untouchable.....

All very well Hoopspur (me), but it kind of smacks of an agenda to me and is it intended to just be a very positive piece. Is it true or is it not? - I guess only time will tell, but it did at least appear to have come from the top of that other forum.

Couldn't have been Prof. He'd have had to pause from banning people every 5 seconds in order to write that.

So now Prof has okayed two contradictory items of ITK, the first of which contained, in addition to the dressing-room ruck revelations, information which had been lifted from previous ITK and media reports, including an article from last Saturday's Telegraph. JJ has heard nothing of any such bust-up. We're now presented with this.

Oh, and according to Update 9, Ade and Lennon couldn't care less whether they play or not. Why, then, is Ade rattled? Why is Lennon suddenly keen to prove himself? We have the reference to 'the events of last week', presumably the dressing-room bust-up, but that was over a fortnight ago.

The last two sentences of the final paragraph don't really make sense.

Seems very much like someone's agenda to me.
