Poch gave Mourinho the tactical beating of a lifetime. As for the team what can be said? Phenomenal team performance, we didn't even park the buss like Newcastle did, we played Chelsea off the park!! The supposed Champions who were to have the title won by now, played off the park. Pochettino is a god manager!!

I know Fazio has his doubters (and, yes, that was a daft error today) but I've a feeling he's been the making of Vertonghen. Their partnership really could be the foundation we've missed for so long.

When u see him live he is a hard barstard and likes to attack the ball. And hurt oppanants his also an organiser and leader at the back. Just a shame about his lack of pace.

Chadli....brilliant. Love the guy's mentality off and on the pitch. As someone that used to play football (as an amateur), it's really hard to mark (and try to out think) a guy with the build of a centre back who has pace and skill in the feet and mind. I would hate to play against him.

Some of the football we played today was really, really good. They look like they're enjoying their football now too. (Thank you Mr Pochettino!)

Surely you should be smashing her back doors in with a Harry Kane face mask on whilst singing Glory Glory Tottenham Hotspur... It would certainly be apt.

:pompous:

Nah. She'll just put her Mourinho mask on and complain about ball-handling.

Agreed. The guy's pace and rapidity of feet for his size and height is frankly rather stunning. Fantastic display of those traits from him today.

"Unbelievably bad"Are you sure you were at the game?
I was only able to watch it on the tele in my armchair, on the floor, in the corner, through my eyes but I thought he had a very good game. Made a number of important runs, good crosses and linked up well with Townsend.

He gave the ball away constantly. I like walker and he has been out ages so I'm not going to do him down.

Can the tv watchers answer one thing for me. Chelsea's first goal. Was it legit? I was south upper and it looked like the ball went out of play. I also heard someone say Costa was offside.

Should point out that my missus is a Chelsea fan, so it looks like the couch for me tonight.

Worth it.

Maybe now's a good time to tell her about that antique bowl....

From the OS :

SPURS 5-3 CHELSEA - MAURICIO'S VERDICT
  • We stormed back from a goal down to lead 3-1 at half-time and then 4-1 before Chelsea hit back for 4-2, only for Nacer Chadli to strike a fifth goal on 78 minutes. John Terry's late third proved no more than a consolation.

Harry Kane's fine solo effort - his 17th in all competitions this season - got us back on level terms and crucially Danny Rose and Andros Townsend put us in the driving seat before the break.

Harry slotted home for 4-1 on 52 minutes before Chelsea's rally but Nacer's goal - the icing on the cake of his personal display - put the issue beyond doubt.

Victory lifted us above Arsenal into fifth as we stepped into 2015 and into the second half of the league campaign in style.

Harry and Nacer's combination work certainly caught the eye but asked about their contribution afterwards, Mauricio was quick to pay tribute to the full team.

"It’s true that Harry scored and Nacer scored but football is a team performance and it’s important all players in the starting 11, on the bench or out of the squad, we are a team and when we got this victory, it’s for everyone.

"I’m very happy. I’m pleased for our players and our supporters. It was a very important game, a very important three points. Everyone is happy."

Mauricio also highlighted the team's character after going a goal down.

"I think in the last few months we have started to show character and the right mentality," he said. "Every day we try to improve and we need to go step by step, to continue working hard and believe in our way."

And there was also a word for the fans, who generated an electric atmosphere. "It's great to feel this atmosphere and energy, when the fans shout and support the team it's a great atmosphere at White Hart Lane."
