All jokes aside, this is what excites me the most about the lad.

Not only do we have a very young striker who can score with both feet, his head, is quite powerful and seems intelligent in his play, he is one of our own! That coupled with all of those other attributes makes him deadly. He is a fan, he is just like us who cheer him on, which means his passion shows no bounds and he wants us to win just as much as we do.

You just can't put a price on that!

My girlfriend's brother went to the same school (Chingford foundation) and was in the same year as Harry Kane; so now he is the talk of the town it's only fair I asked my future brother-in-law stuff about Harry so I can be popular with the cool kids on SpursCommunity.

Me:

Alright ***** how are you mate? What do you remember about Harry Kane when at school with him and what was the name of the school? What was he like personality wise and do you remember any stories (football or other stuff) or maybe how he was at football? Did he get bullied or anything?

*****:

Yeah good mate , well have to say when we all use to be at the park getting drunk (200 strong) this guy no lie was there doing kick ups. he use to go in goal in a game at lunch with 100 people playing and would run it out take it passed everyone and score. he was alright guy he called me big head and I said his face looked like it was upside down, he was quiet ish but had bants was a nice guy don't think he was bullied at all just loved football was in my business and maths class so quite a smart guy

His ability to keep on the ball actually reminds me of Dembele. Whenever the ball seems to be getting away from him he manages to get in front of the opposition player. He uses his body so well but unlike Dembele he has the pace and attacking instincts to drive past players and score goals. I think that's why Dembele often checks back and passes because he doesn't have the pace and athleticism to carry the ball past players.

So impressed he has carried the same level of performance regardless of the opposition. To score two top class goals against Chelsea is nothing short of impressive.

It's truly incredible. I always anticipate the tackle to come in, but he always seems to keep it. At first, I thought it was teams simply underestimating his ability, but now it's looking like a true talent of his. The way he shrugged off Oscar and Fabregas on that first goal is absolutely class.

We always knew Kane had presence to go with his talent but I've been surprised how good he was in the last two games. The maturity and accomplishment of his play was almost astonishing. Especially since he's looked a little greedy and overenthusiastic recently.

He seemed to understand his role, the necessity of retaining possession etc. and he did it almost perfectly.

One for us sad gamers...

But I am so looking forward to the Harry Kane Inform on FIFA. It has to happen. And I will build a team around it and I will dominate anyone who comes across me.

I'm sadly excited about this prospect.

Think it's 16 goals in 17 starts now (plus 8 subs).

16 in 25 overall, plus 6 in his last 6. Not bad stats! Don't know how it would look with his U21 games mixed back in

Not played for the Spurs u21's that I can recall - but he's scored 5 for the England u21's this season, think its in 6 appearances.

http://www.spurscommunity.co.uk/index.php?threads/tottenham-hotspur-goals-assists-2014-2015.111657/ and 17 for Spurs.

Either way its over 20 goals this season for Spurs and England u21's. As you say, not bad !

I think we owe a lot to Sherwood and Ferdinand for their motivational skills too to further Kane's development

TS/LF to Kane: " If you work hard you have the potential to play for Real Madrid."

I always hated that bit. If you work hard, you can play for Spurs. It really, really bothers me that Tactics Tim used Real Madrid as a motivational tool. You can see why our squad was in such disarray for so long. Fucking bellend.

I honestly think if we can continue to develop the level of players around Kane that he can just score an absolute fuck load of goals for us. Is exciting times really and I just hope he can keep going in the right direction.

Except there's no evidence Sherwood said it.
