Must have missed it. Only read the recent pages. Glad I'm in good company. ;)

It's certainly a valid point. It was probably just fresh in my mind due to trawling through the pages of this thread last night to see how thoughts on Kane have developed over the last couple of years.

Another thing about him is his slightly ungainly body shape. It's almost as though when he's running with the ball it's not so much in front of him as it is underneath him. I think it makes it more difficult for players to challenge him for fear of fouling him.

I said on another thread about what i love about him and that's his outstanding balance. He picks up the ball and just glides through people using superb body strength and the best balance i have seen in a footballer at spurs in years. I suppose similar to Bale in a way but obviously no where near his level just yet but in the sense of being almost impossible to tackle.

Watched the highlights again today and Kane's second goal is pure quality. The turn, and the composure of the shot. For me, Rivals Lamelas robana as one of our goals of the season so far.

Has anybody heard whether Cahills kick in Harry's back is going to be dealt with by the FA? Didn't want to start a new thread for this.

Watched the game again today. It really should be brought up with the FA because it's a deliberate kick. Not only that but afterwards he tramples on Kane's ankle. He pretends he's going for the ball when he stamps but if you watch the replay he's looking straight down at Kane's ankle and there's no way he's going to be able to stretch enough to reach the ball. The dirty fuck.

With regards to the ankle stamp, you will notice that the ball is a good 2 feet out of play, so he can't use the excuse of going for the ball. He (Cahill) is an unmitigated C***.

Are they saying Dowd saw it and didn't think anything of it? Or is the Prem League prats sucking up to Jose again?

Both probably. Mourinho cleverly mentioned Sterlings 'slap' against Swansea in his press conference, almost daring the FA to charge Cahill.
