Apparently Wenger's been doing his studying and has figured out the effectiveness of sitting deep at the Lane. We're too narrow, too slow, and too unable to dribble through tight spaces.

How we're losing this I don't know. Fantastic performance so far. Just a little tweaking needed. Chadli on for Lamela, Dembele will be encouraged to sit a little a more central.

Mason has been our best player so far with Walker not doing too bad as well

I like Mason, but i hesitate to use the word "best". Hardest working, undoubtedly, but it's been a battlers performance, not a productive one unfortunately.

We're being done by the old Ar$enil - boringly efficient. Wenger is adopting Mouhrino's game-plan - and it's working. Mo Po needs to make changes BEFORE the 60th minute.
Chadli is fucking good and Lamela is so fucking bad - That would be a start and Please oh Please get Eriksen central ASAP.
That's two very obvious and basic changes that 1) Should never have begun with and 2) Needs changing PRONTO.
Else we're going to waste the next 15 minutes in the same pattern of predictability.

So frustrating.

How are they winning? They've had 1 chance :(

The same way They won at city. They have allowed us possession and only hitting us on the counter. Typically when we break at them someone like Dembele does a pirouette instead of having the ability to spot a quick pass and the move breaks down.
Need to get Chadli on the left and stick Eriksen at 10. I wouldn't miss lamela if he were subbed either.

Sooner see Lamela off for Chadli. But Dembele could have been quicker in his decision making going forward. Took too much time on several occasions and we ended up passing backwards.

Good first half despite the stupid goal. Bit more width (Lamela) and pace in attack and I think we'll nail this match.

At least Dembele is trying to get involved, Lamela offers us little going forward and we cannot afford to carry a player against top teams.

Seriously can nobody see what Lamela is doing for the team!?!??!?!?!?!?! Just there, his pressure created the opportunity for Walker to win the ball and counter. Fuck me.

Most people just watch goals and nice passes. They dont have a clue about the actual game and off the ball influence. Why do you think the all action players are the fans favourites even when they are a hinderence to the team (a la parker)

A travesty that we are 1-0 down. We've played well, had all the game, and pressed and played at tempo. Unfortunately not precision and composure in the final third.

I have to say though that I think we lack someone who can cause them problems in the final third - ie. play direct and scare them. I always try and point this out, but this is the problem with playing three playmakers in behind the striker, you need a bit of pace and someone more direct. Chadli has to come on at some point to see if he can offer this, for Dembele or Lamela.

Its not really happening for Kane or Eriksen either today, and if we are to get something from this then you'd imagine one of these two needs to get their act together with the ball at their feet.

Lets keep up the energy and workrate though.
