All the teams above us are in to double figures for goal difference we are plus six, thats Our problem and one of the reasons why we wont get top four.
Until this gets sorted properly top four is a no no.
Amongst the teams who are not in the bottom 3, only 4 have conceded more goals than us. We are 13th in least conceded goals.

Liverpool, Arsenal and Utd have more 'big' games than us before the end of the season. Win our game in hand and I couldnt separate us for the final sprint.

Its gonna get scary

Agree with this. We have one game a week from now until the end the season. We already have one of the fittest squads in the league. In a straight sprint I think we'll give a good account of ourselves.

Interesting...

@charlieparrish: First time Spurs have won a league game without Kane or Eriksen scoring since beating QPR 4-0 on August 24.

Potch needs to learn to rotate! I'm sure that ending wasn't helpped by some tired legs! Could easily have brought in 3/4 players who didn't play on Sunday to freshen the team up. Eriksen is one who needs a rest form had dropped in past few weeks and I'm sure a lot of that is down to the amount of games he has played in past two/three months same with Verts,

Maybe he picked the cup final team to let them get the cup final out of their system? I don't think Townsend and Chadli will start on Sat despite their goals tonight

Not sure we'll see much of him tbh mate. Not at least to push Walker for a starting place.

He's looked good for USA but I wouldn't be surprised if we look to convert him back to his natural position as a right winger.

Well thank goodness we only play once a week now. It's no coincidence that our best spell, best performances came during the EL break.

I really, really, really enjoyed that game.

A wonderful volley by the Dolphin.
Mason banging one in.
Townsend scoring with far more technique than I thought he had in his locker tbh.

And then in the final minutes... Hugo. Oh Hugo.

Loved it. Not only did we win, but we won by playing stylish football - which is what our club's meant to be about.

Keep on doing what you're doing Poch.

Up until the last minutes my MOTM remained Ryan, I thought he was absolutely integral and excellent tonight. But that last save from Hugo - well, it makes it a very tough call.

Maybe, but until he makes a matchday squad I still think that he ticks far more boxes commercially than he does on the pitch for us.

It's way too early put him in the 'commercial' box as we've yet to see him in action. I'm not saying he's going to replace Walker or that he'll be good enough, but he's certainly got potential.

Great to have three different goalscorers tonight, and three players who aren't Kane or Eriksen!

Both Townsend and Mason should really be scoring 5-10 league goals a season.

The defence / defensive part of our game will improve the more we play. These things take time. Enjoy the win. Trust in Pochettino.

Why is our defence always so porous?
Different personnel/coaches/manager same story.
Thank-God for Hugo.
