I watched quite a bit of Sporting this year to see Islam Slimani and to be honest Cedric never really stood out. One of my friends is a big Sporting fan and he's not that big on Cedric, supposedly showed a lot of promise a few years ago and just simply hasn't developed since then. My friend is also a bigger fan of Miguel Lopes but Sporting seem to favour Cedric more.

I'm not sure why they didn't go for Depay. I guess they've been trying for sterling for 8/9 months so thought it was just a matter of paying a fee.

Think Caulke would've developed a lot better had he stayed with us. Clearly wasn't ready for the responsibilities that Cardiff and QPR threw at him.
